Khaolak Laguna Resort

Stayed at Khao Lak Laguna Resort for 3 beautiful nights. From the very second we entered the Team were lovely and welcoming and throughly explained everything we needed to know about the resort. It was my Birthday trip and they made me feel even more amazing than I already felt. Dior was especially amazing as she helped us book our excursions and generally looked after us the entire time. The food is great especially the Noodle Bar at breakfast is fantastic, I ate a bowl of noodles every morning. The Resort is right on the seafront you can be chilling at the pool and be at the beach in less than two minutes. The sunsets are amazing at Laguna hands down the best sunset I have ever seen. I would recommend this resort to anyone wanting to relax unwind and enjoy beautiful horizons and amazing service!!!

We arrived and welcomed with a nice cool drink then showed to our room in which we declined it was next door to a building site a lot off construction niose. This was block 5 but within 20 minutes we were allocated another room in block 6 much better and quiter it was large very nice beds were a little hard for us but managed bathroom really good plenty of hot water. The house maids kept it very clean for us. Around the Pool decking is bit grubby and needs attention and repairs as some decking was rotting also stopped using pool after a couple of days after noticing there’s a lot of children in the pool and you never see any in the toilet!!!!!. We were on the all inclusive deal food not bad good breakfast meals at sundowner restaurant were a good quality but a little repetitive could do with a change of menus once a week drinks were spot on as we got premium drinks in the package. The staff at the sundowner worked exstreamly hard to please I can say all the staff and managers tried to make our stay a pleasant one especially JO at the Sundowner what an asset . Thier was construction work going on the seafront wall which I found a bit of a problem as I worked in construction all my working life and didn’t want to be bothered by construction noise etc but TUI left to late for us change accommodation as every were else was busy due to Xmas. This hotel is worth a visit as it pleasant and spacious and near to all bars and restaurants and shops.

Este o experienta deosebita sa stai aici. Mi-a placut ca sunt spatii mari, multa verdeata si fauna. Am stat intr-un Oriental Villa, am avut intimitate si am fost si aproape de plaja. Designul thailandez este superb! Micul dejun a fost delicios, variat si din belsug, cu feluri atragatoare si pentru copii. Mi-au placut in mod deosebit cele doua carturi de food street - unul pentru bauturi cu gheata, celalalt pentru supe. Staff-ul a fost minunat. Foarte prietenos, receptionieri cu experienta, foarte amabili si ne-au ajutat prompt cu orice am avut nevoie.

Nu mi-a placut ca ne-au nimicit tantarii. Cu toate ca am avut un aparat impotriva lor in camera. Asta a fost cam singurul minus. Restaurantul este bun dar sincer cred ca e loc de mai bine, se poate imbunatati un pic calitatea preparatelor.

Hi. We are wanting to go to this hotel in February 2026. However, we are concerned about the construction work that appears to be going on at present. I’ve contacted the hotel - who say that it will be ongoing until December 2026 - but that it won’t affect our stay. We are dubious. We have just returned home from this hotel. We were assured by TUI that construction would be completed by the 15th, sadly this was not the case. However we didn’t spend too much time at the hotel so it didn’t affect us. We were also gifted with 2 massages each and a bamboo rafting day trip which was fab. The staff at the hotel are so lovely and work extremely hard, always smiling and warm friendly greetings. There is not much I can fault with this hotel, we were all inclusive, however it was a bit of a pain having to sign for literally everything, but no big deal. Outside of the hotel is great, turn left and about a 5-10 minute walk and you’re amongst shops, bars restaurants. The shopping is great, 7-eleven is a must, and the pharmacies are fantastic. Opposite the hotel is Walkers, fantastic English breakfast, and also Chang bar, great way to end a night, the band are great and really get the crowd going. We did a boat trip to Surin island, this was paradise, and the snorkeling is outstanding. James Bond island is also a good trip. On the main strip is plenty of tour operators, we used William tours to book the turtle sanctuary at the Naval base, and also ethical elephant experience, this was out of this world. (Also stopped at a waterfall in between. We experienced Muay Thai boxing live which was a great night. All in all we had a fantastic time, and will be returning. Oh… on your last day the hotel will provide you with a pack up which is great, also pack light as the laundry services here are very cheap. More space in your case for your 7-eleven haul. 😀

Aamiainen oli todella runsas! Todella hieno ja tilava majoitus.

Ranta ei ollut kummoinen, mutta suht läheltä löytyy kyllä hienoja rantoja.

Mysigt, grönt och fint, varaner & katter som går runt på området vilket var mysigt. Tyst och lugnt. Personalen var fantastiska, supertrevliga. Poolerna rena och fräscha. Frukosten bra med många alternativ. Massagen var toppen. Fin strand nära. Hade gärna bott här igen.

Renovering pågår fortfarande på området, inget som egentligen störde oss och vi blev kompenserade direkt vid incheckning med kuponger för mat, dryck och massage för hela familjen. Kvaliteten på maten i restaurangen hade kunna förbättras. Gymmet väldigt litet, hade behövts mer yta.
