Khaolak Laguna Resort

This was our second visit to the Laguna . We had enjoyed it so much last year we decided to go again. The hotel is so accommodating as we had requested our same room at last year. Some of the staff remembered us from the previous year which was lovely. The beach has changed after a storm and is lower but still clean and lovely to walk along. The hotel was as good as last year and the gardens kept very nice . We only went B& B this year but did eat in the beach restaurant on occasion. Breakfast choices has improved on last year and there is always something delicious to eat.

Neat and clean.

Too many stairs and staff didn’t offer drinks around d the pool area you had to call them over.

Liebloses Hotel. Kein Charme, einfach, funktionell. Man könnte es mit etwas Farbe und thailändischer Dekoration aufhübschen. Wir sind freundlicheres Personal gewöhnt. Da ist viel Luft nach oben. Preis.- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht.

Absolutely loved the breakfast, coffee bar, amazing pools and views. Just a beautiful location and setting.

Lovely to see the monitor lizards but also a little intimidating when with two young children. The room was also very noisy as we were placed on the main road.

Total disaster. The rooms were dirty and noisy. The bathroom was smelly when we arrived. The breakfast was poor. The gym had old equipment and no aircon. The swimming pool was full of small particles. The staff was not friendly and could not speak good English. Not recommended.

Lots of coachroaches in the bathroom at several occasions, the hotel sprayed som bug spray, but coachroaches reappered every day. Signs that says "No swimming" at the beach, no explanation why but still swimming allowed at others hotels right next to the laguna? At high tide you can't access the beach at all, or walk over to the beach next to the hotel where there are more restaurants since they've built a high wall. Really loud trafic outside the hotel. Nice breakfast, the sundowner had mediocre food.

We stayed in the Laguna resort for 10 nights after traveling around the south of Thailand for 2 weeks. On arrival we were met by staff to take our bags etc. Check in was a breeze no problems with language barriers etc. Noona was the member of staff that greeted us and she was wonderful, very helpful nothing was to much trouble. She even took us and a few more out for the afternoon to a local village to see a Buddhist festival which was brilliant. We were taken to our rooms which were lovely, very clean spacious and had everything we required for our stay. The food was lovely, we only had breakfast and meals by the pool at lunchtimes but all very nice and plenty of choice. The pool waiters were great and delivered drinks when requested to our sunbeds. The hotel is located right on the beach which enables you to walk in both directions of the beech.

Room was comfortable. I found the room quite dark though. I didn’t like the pool towel system, they were left in your room but only if you left your dirty one so often no clean towel to head to the pool. Sun beds were comfortable.
