Bathroom looked like it had been refurbished but the water pressure from the shower was a let down.

Our room was stifling hot The window would not open so no air coming in ..As myself and my husband have heart trouble impossible to sleep .The bathroom had shower over bath as I have mobility issues it was dangerous for me to climb over

Breakfast was lovely with a good choice of meals plus frui, juices and cereals also available. But it's the Staff who make the stay so nice. They were all lively and polite and helpful and I will be booking again later in the year.

The window blinds were inadequate, the biggest let-down in our experience. At sun-up, the light came streaming in. Black-out blind with curtain in front essential for a good night's sleep also the window didn't open. Correct those and we'd become a regular visitor. Water pressure low for the shower, maybe need a pump for third floor rooms. Also, cut-off isolater for the towel rail would be useful. Plus a small fridge with water would be nice

Just returned from a 4 night break in this wonderful hotel. Location just inches away from the sea so the view from breakfast room was incredible. Can walk to town centre but not many places to eat in Lowestoft Town centre We booked directly and everything was done very efficiently. Free parking inclkuded in price for booking. On arrival was greeted warmly and given a door card and all information we needed. Very professional, helpful and efficient as were all the staff in the hotel obviously all very well trained and all seemed very happy at the jobs which was lovely to witness We had a standard double with shower over the bath. The room was bigger than expected, very clean and had what we needed. Bed very comfy and we slept well. Room also very clean and tastefully decorated. Reception, bar, restaurant, toilets etc also all very clean. Breakfast was ordered the night before and cooked to order in the morning, plentiful and set us up for the day, cooked very well and we both said how delicious the sausages were and the one of the best we had tasted in any hotel or B&B must be butchers sausages We ate at the hotel 3 nites, the menu was lovely, very very tasty and large portions. The cost was very reasonable also . Again staff in restaurant and bar very very attentive and a credit to the hotel. Our only comment would be we prefer a slightly more powerful shower, not a complaint though. An excellent stay at an excellent hotel, very very well run, keep up the good work. Of you need a wonderful hotel to stay at please try Hotel Victoria Lowestoft
