Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan

Found this resort looking for the best Mactan could offer. Really nice place with great facilities and friendly staff - always smiling and helping out. Would specially give creds to the lifeguard team: Eman, Simple, Jesril, Joel, Andre and Bitong - watching out for us while we were snorkeling around the area. Also super safe to leave your stuff at the beach, they watch out for it! Creds to Marvin cleaning our room and helping out! I encourage to give the staff some tips for giving thebest experience and service - including helping out taking awesome photos! Cheers from Norway

The hotel's neatness, good view, and good restaurant resort are the best! And I recommend a spacious and clean swimming pool! Lastly, thank you for being kind to my friend, LEMAR!

We had a great stay however there are a few areas for improvement. Umbrellas. It should be more than enough for the guests considering it is the wet season in the Philippines. Another is the lobby. There are only a few comfortable chairs. I know aesthetic is important but comfort should be a priority too. Lastly, I paid for an extra person for the room but it wasnt prepared before we got into the room. Instead I have to ask for it while we were already inside.

A very nice experience, thanks to Jesster Marie for front desk help and to Juvs, Lyn, service at Azure and Edwin the driver. I suggest the spanish restaurant is too complicated for a holiday result. A quality traditional restaurant is all that is needed

Perfect Hotel for a perfect stay . The rooms are beautiful, the garden and concept of the building and Hotel Area is so lovely created that makes you feel comfortable from the first steps . Especially the service is incredible. So aware , friendly , always smiling and really professional ! The restaurants offer also possibility of exclusive dinner / fine Dining - we tried the Japanese and Spanish ones and it was really worth it ! So good! You do nothing wrong with that hotel if your looking for a high class hotel with atmosphere! Thanks at all the Service Staff - you are the best!

As usual in the Philippines all staff were amazing. Very welcoming. However it’s not how we imagined the Philippines. The hotel has its own private beach and the snorkelling is really good in bits of it but you are not able to walk along the beach and you can’t walk anywhere from the hotel without a taxi. That said if you’re wanting a chilled out relaxing holiday this is the place for you. Be warned if you’re wanting to go on a snorkelling island hopping trip they need a minimum of 4 people. We ended up paying double the cost for a private tour just so we could do it. It was an amazing trip but very expensive 😵‍💫 Day trip to Bohol to see the chocolate hills and the very cute Tarsiers recommended.

The staff at Saffron restaurant within Crimson are beyond wonderful. Heartfelt, genuine smiles light up the room every morning... Hazel, Joyce, Mike and Prock are detailed, kind, and amazing young professionals...l couldn't extol their virtues any more...l will miss every one of them. Robbie Calvo

I enjoyed every bit of this resort! The complimentary go cart rides, free sample drinks in the mini fridge, and shuttle service to malls. Spent a good amount of time at the pool and enjoyed talking with Aurelio and Joel. They gave a lot of tips and recommendations about what the resort has to offer and I will definitely be back!

With a little communication problems get solved. To be totally honest we had some issues the first few days, some due to problems created by the Typhoon Kalmaegi (Tino), that gave some supply restraints. Our biggest issue was that we found our “garden view room” dark and the “garden view” is in my book just some canes in front of a 2 x 2 meter patio (not including the entrance). We had a good talk with resort management about all our issues (except the room) that were very small but just added up. We got it all sorted out and will like to acknowledged the great effort that was put in to make sure our 10 day stay would be a enjoyable time. Will also say that every single staffer we had any contact with were extremely polite friendly and happy. Rare to find such a group of fantastic people. I could name a couple that was a notch above the others, but it would be unfair to the others. The resort is fairly isolated, when it comes to the city. Mactan is within walking distance 2+ km away and totally not worth the walk. If you want to go to Cebú you have to take the free shuttle. Cebú is not a very charming city and besides the malls not much to see. We took a Taxi back cost ca 400 pesos. If you are here just to relax then you will be happy. The room was clean and areas in general are clean. Gym is adequate. Spa is good but somewhat expensive. We got massage in Mactan for 1200 peso per person for 90 minutes, good massage in a clean place. There are some good restaurants here, AKA was our favorite. But all 4 restaurants are great. The beach restaurant Azure is great for lunch and happy hour drinks. I will though question the music. Not only is it very loud, lots of techno music, and in general only for people under 30. I truly doubt that there are many people in the “target group”. Music should be played at a loudness where you can have a conversation and should not chase 1/2 the guest away. At least have an area where you can sit, listen talk. Right now the whole area is one big disco/night club, with speakers in all corners so you can’t escape.
