Pool is great

It was a wonderful experience! All the staff were friendly, helpful, and had excellent communication. Jane at the front desk gave us a warm welcome, Ivan was very accommodating in assisting us to our room, and Nels the pool attendant was a pleasure to talk to. Housekeeping’s Ceejay was always quick to assist, while Jerome promptly resolved a hot water issue and later handled our check-out smoothly, even addressing our concerns with the manager. Special thanks to the whole team for making our stay truly memorable!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm hospitality and genuine smiles, making us feel immediately welcome. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and every team member we encountered throughout our stay was courteous, helpful, and attentive to detail. Our room was spotless, spacious, and well-designed for comfort. The bed was very cozy, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches provided, from the neatly arranged amenities to the calming ambiance. Housekeeping did an excellent job of keeping everything immaculate each day. The hotel facilities were also impressive. The restaurant served delicious meals with a great variety of options, and breakfast was always fresh and satisfying. We also enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the lobby and common areas, which were modern yet very welcoming.

Great buffet good staff . Nice beach restaurant . A bit pricey in beer and drinks compared to other locations in thd philippines but id stilk say 1 of the top places so far

We will definitely come back. ⸻ What did you enjoy the most? • The staff’s professionalism and warmth. Every single staff member was always smiling and polite. • Special thanks to: • Jonel (Lifeguard) – took wonderful photos at the infinity pool. • Bert (Staff) – sincerely assisted with arranging our Oslob & Sumilon Island tour. • Sybil (Saffron Café) – remembered us and provided warm service at both our first and last meals. • Angel (Tour Coordinator) – calm, professional, and very reliable. • Piddy (Tour Driver) – safe, quiet, and considerate during long drives. •The cleanliness of the room, with complimentary beers as a nice surprise. •The beautifully maintained resort and beach, including staff grooming the sand each morning. •The pools: the infinity pool was lively, while the Crimzone pool was a peaceful hidden gem. •Dining at Saffron Café – excellent Filipino cuisine, memorable thanks to Sybil. •Azure Beach Club desserts (halo-halo, mango sticky rice) and poolside coconut juice. •The private Oslob & Sumilon tour – very well organized, with crystal-clear water and delicious included lunch. ⸻ Areas for Improvement • At times, there was an unpleasant smell from the bathroom plumbing. • When we mentioned at check-in that this was our honeymoon, we were told that something special would be arranged, but unfortunately nothing was provided during our stay. It would have been wonderful to have a small gesture for such an important occasion. • The TV in the room was a bit difficult to use. • Curtains and bathroom door felt slightly aged (not a big issue). ⸻ Safety and Security • Inside the resort: excellent. Visible security, gate checks for taxis, and no outside food deliveries allowed. ⸻ Walkability • Inside the resort: very easy to walk around, with beautiful landscaping. ⸻ Recommendation We highly recommend Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan to couples and honeymooners looking for a peaceful, luxurious, and unforgettable stay.
