FLOODING SHOWER - HEATH AND SAFETY ISSUE

Beds were comfortable and the room was dark and the location was great. The parking/luggage concierge (with the amazing dreadlocks) was fantastic , he went out of his way to make our welcome very warm and he is a brilliant asset to the hotel

Room 105- bathroom flooded all the way to the carpet, mould was present all around the fittings in bathroom to an alarming degree healthwise, the fridge did not work, one of the display cushions had completely frayed and had a large hole with stuffing falling out. Calcification on kettle indicated it also had not been cleaned for some time. Room 111 - pillow slips were not sized properly and extremely filthy pillows were not enclosed in the pillow slips properly. Reception staff were not overly welcoming at check in. They were also not at all helpful after room 105 bathroom flooded- check the photo for the danger regarding slipping, this was after completely normal use of the shower. As it happened after investigation, the drain was blocked however reception did not understand the seriousness of the situation when it was reported, nor did they apologise for the issue.

Location is excellent The concierge was friendly

Staff at reception were not friendly were not advised at check in towels are in the wardrobe!! Bed small would expect more when I paid over 600 per night. Bar seats are low with no atmosphere and bar closed at 11 when Ascot is on ???? Breakfast - coffee from machine is terrible was asked on first day arrival if we had been here before advise no was not explained that we could order from a menu . Eggs under light are cold

Location..clean spaciuos room

As part of a big Bridal party we booked many rooms and there was a mix up on booking in at reception and the groom didn't have a room! Also parking so expensive and we had paid for a space and had to argue with staff on gate to let us in! Also breakfast for the bride and 9 bridesmaids consisted of one tiny croissant each brought up to room. Considering the amount of money the bridal party spent I thought the staff would be more accommodating!
