Anchorage Hotel

Lovely friendly hotel based few minutes walk from the sea We only booked a basic dog friendly room but it was adequate for what we wanted The staff were so friendly and the food and coffee were great and great value breakfast roll & coffee , sat in lounge area with our dog for breakfast Lovely start to out holiday

Needs updating. Carpets threadbare in places, rooms in need of decorating. Our bedroom smelt of wet dog and could see dog hairs on the bed base. Breakfast average, luke warm. Wouldn't come back and wouldn't recommend to anyone

Our first stay in Babbacombe, The Anchorage hotel was somewhat tired and dated .Not really suited to elderly or infirm people .The stairs were very steep, very few rooms on the ground floor and the lift didnt work .Our bed was very comfy and the bedding nice and clean. Breakfasts were buffet , amazing quality and quantity . Sadly dinner was not to quite the same standard. The staff were amazing, cheerful and helpful.

Place is convenient for sea front and bus route. Flat walking and wonderful weather if you catch it right.

Very nice hotel with extremely good staff. 3 Course meal for £18 is really good and they have some brilliant offers on in Oct, Nov and Dec. Thanks for a great stay. We will be back.

Great family hotel well looked after food is good rooms nice good bar and service all round. Even has a swimming pool and spa sauna.

Came here on a groupon offer for 3 of us for spa access, a facial and cream tea. For the price it was spot on, hotel was definitely dated and needed some tidying up and refurbishment. The spa area was very small, thankfully it was just us 3 for most of our time so it was a perfect morning, had there been more people it would have been completely different. Charlotte who did the treatments was lovely and did an amazing job! Very understanding, if I knew it would just be us in the spa area I would definitely book again.

Had a great stay would definitely stay again the food was great the stuff couldn't be any better I have know complaints wich is unusual for me thanks again

We enjoyed our stay . The staff were friendly and helpful.Was nice to be able to sit outside in the sunshine , where a Cafe/bar was in the garden area

Very old fashioned rooms outdated furniture & smelled musty! Not very clean & breakfast bread mouldy
