Convenient Grand Hotel

Short stay , but , we are happy to return there ever year on our way to Chiang Mai

our stay was ruined by the rude and incompetent receptionist. The hotel has gone downhill since the last time we stayed here. The restaurant was deserted and closed early and the hotel has a run down feel to it

we booked this hotel because we had a very early flight and it's not far from the airport. it's pretty old and run down, not the cleanest, the breakfast wasn't awesome but correct. what bothered me most is that when we got there nobody would help us with the luggage, so we took their luggage cart and walked past them while they looked at us. i guess it was their lunch break or something LOL as for the location, if you stay there and need to get around during the day it's very complicated as traffic is very very bad in this area.

On pic looks good but very old as I said time stop there on 01.01.2000 but price 20$ (over night) I think fine . Location on map it is near Airport but the way to airport has big traffic it took 32 min.(for this time I can reach Airport from middle of Bangkok by BTC)If you looking for overnight place you can find better option for same price.

The hotel isn't good at all. On pictures it looks quite good whereas in reality it's opposite. Not clean, horrible service. The room had no tea or coffee either. The hand towel in the bathroom had some makeup marks on it. The hotel isn't appealing at all, vert shabby & depressing atmosphere. The restaurant food was ok ok. We had booked our room with breakfast and the buffet was horrible. Looking at it was making me throw up. Very disappointing. Only plus point quite close to the airport.

Very convenient for quick access to the International airport. It only took about 15 minutes on the shuttle. The hotel is very basic. It is clean and very reasonable in cost. At one time this was probably a very glorious hotel, but now it's a bit outdated. The rooms are nice size and the beds are comfy. The AC unit in my room leaked condensation all over the floor. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They offer shuttle service to the airport for 150 Baht. Not a bad choice for basic room and board. By the way their restaurant was very good for diner.

For a quick overnight stay before leaving on an early flight, the hotel and room were fine. Budget airport hotel but clean and had hourly transport to the airport. However, the restaurant food was terrible. I ordered the Pad Thai and spring rolls--it was honestly the worst Thai food I have ever had. It was inedible. Overcooked noodles, tasteless sauce, mushy spring rolls. I ended up getting dinner from the snacks available in the lobby. I mentioned it to the manager on duty and it wasn't treated very serious.

I've stayed in most of the "under $20" hotels around the airport. This is one of the good ones and is a little easier for taxis to find than some. The rooms are large and clean. The bed is quite firm which is common for Thai hotels in general and especially in this price range. I had a little trouble with the water pressure and lack of hot water in my shower, but this likely is specific to the room and the fact that we were on the top floor. There also were the typical tiny ants roaming around the room. They don't bite and you can't feel them when you sleep, but some people might be put off by that. Be sure to keep food in sealed containers or in the refrigerator. The buffet breakfast is very good considering the price range of this hotel. I believe it cost 200 Baht (around 6 USD) and was worth it for the convenience and variety.

Awful customer service, the pool was so filthy it couldn't be used, when we asked for a sachet of coffee we were refused. We came here to relax in the pool in-between flights and when we couldn't use it due to the dirt and they couldn't even give us a sachet of coffee to pass the time instead. Poor location, Very below average, there are many better options for airport hotels.
