A last minute stay , very spacious room and thanks for the upgrade to a suit , staff were all very helpful and breakfast was delightful

We came for the new josper bbq as it was bank holiday, and what an experience we had. The food was unreal and we were shocked at the portion sizes as well, we couldn’t finish it all! The staff were lovely and really cheery including the chef! Really recommend the old crown inn, especially if they keep on doing the Monday night josper bbq! Can’t wait to come again.

We had our wedding here! After initially booking a ceremony only venue the search started to find a place to hold our reception. We looked at multiple venues and eventually came across The Old Crown Coaching Inn. We wanted a place that served great food and drink with different spaces for dining and partying. On site accommodation was also on the list. We initially came for a Sunday roast to scope the place out and just like that the search was over. The roast was so good we had it as our main at the wedding breakfast. We dined in the “Ball Room” the main dinning space. It had enough space to easily seat the 80 guests we wanted. Already the picture of our day was starting to form. The Inn has a delightful cobbled courtyard area which is where we hired a marquee marking the space as the main party area. There is a cocktail bar conveniently located just inside. There is also an another bar in the front part of building, typical pub setup. During our planning meetings, Nick and Isabel were very helpful. We met Seb and Head Chef Sam early on. Everyone was professional and helpful and it was clear they cared. The venue was perfect for what we wanted but the Evans family were able to help up achieve exactly what we wanted. They were great with all of our vendors and were actually the reason why chose the band and marquee. The wedding day went better than expected and it was so great to have the bedrooms upstairs which helped with travelling family. We appreciated waking up the next day in the glorious Court Room (the expansive and luxurious main suite) and heading downstairs to have breakfast with the rest of the family before departing. We highly recommend this inn. For a wedding/function or simply just for a Sunday roast. What’s great for us is that we can go back at anytime!

Despite calling to say I was disabled the “ground floor” room involved climbing very steep deep steps. Despite the rules being no noisy parties in the rooms we were above the band night. The noise was awful. No food served on Sunday night - with no advice ahead of time. Generally very unhappy with this property

We loved the ambience of both the bar and the Ballroom dining room. The service was excellent, perfect blend of friendly and professional. The new (August) A La Carte menu was fantastic - we could easily go back tomorrow to try the other half! Our particular favourite was the lamb main - a true fusion of Curry and British taste buds! The Snickers desert was also delish! Many thanks to the young waiters who served us, you did a fantastic job on an unexpectedly busy night!

Stayed for a party at Radcot and nothing could have been better from the first phone call to checking out

Nice to see the place after the renovations. A good job has been done. Sorry we weren't able to try the restaurant as it is closed on Sunday evenings. The breakfast was obviously good quality produce.

A wonderful stay with fantastic food (breakfast especially) and very hospitable staff. Unique and historic building - I couldn’t recommend highly enough. Many Thanks
