The Wordsworth Hotel

We were put into a disabled access room at the back of the hotel with no views. I had to wait nearly ten minutes to check out due to the receptionist taking a phone call, which he eventually paused, and asked to call the person back.

Clean, some friendly staff, others not so. Room 4 far too hot

Fabulous food, beautiful room,very good shower. Lovely staff. Only negative some of the conservatory furniture needs refurbishing. This is our 2nd stay and we would definitely stay again.

The Wordsworth is in a perfect location in the centre of Grasmere village. Comfortable hotel, lovely garden, great food, ample parking. The friendly, helpful and efficient staff all contributed to making this a great place to stay.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The room was immaculate and the king size bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was really good with a good variety on the menu. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The pool was fantastic! We would definitely stay at this hotel again!!😋

Cannot fault the Wordsworth Hotel. The staff were superb and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was excellent and the food exquisite. Will come again and look forward to your seeing your beautiful hotel again.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff.

The location in the centre of Grasmere was a good start and the parking was easy within spacious grounds. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were great with a good choice. We pre-booked the dinners and they were special with a wide choice. We had the swimming pool and jacuzzi to ourselves on both days. This hotel is a traditional English hotel, nicely decorated, warm and welcoming. The only downside was that our room was a bit small but I knew that when I booked it. Otherwise the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. I would recommend it and will be happy to return one day.
