Asked for a nice view, got a grass bank as tall as the window and traffic cones on top. The bed was rock hard. The room was spacious and the staff friendly. Breakfast was ok. Good that you coukd use the pool area after check out. Shame there was no outdoor furniture on the large patio in the sunshine. Also a pity you couldn't order lunch by the pool or on the patio. A nice hotel but a bit dated and missing a few opportunities.

We had a great stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The food was great as were the leisure facilities.

Wonderful stay. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. Hope to be back soon!

Set in its own grounds overlooking Plymouth. Well kept, designed and maintained

It was an amazing hotel with great service. They accommodated decorating the room for my partners birthday which was really appreciated!

A fantastic hotel set in beautiful surroundings, staff make you feel very welcome and very helpful. Food is excellent, as is the service. Highly recommend

Room size was great and it was nice and clean. Bathroom had no shower gels or soaps. Toilet paper was cheap. Beds were not comfy at all mattresses need replacing, very hard and springs poking in your back. Didn’t sleep well.

Don't get out much. Good to go to a 'nice' hotel....

The hotel post code put me on a private drive about half a mile from the hotel; it was after 10pm, and the hotel phone repeatedly went to voicemail, very frightening. Fortunately the home owner provided directions. Hotel parking is clearly marned "Hotel guests only" but is used by the golfers, the result being I had to park in an overflow car park some way away and, having been allocated a car park facing room, was then disturbed by car doors slamming / golfers leaving as the bar closed. Not a good start. Two night stay, 2nd night better. Meals were good.

Lovely hotel and a little bit different for a business trip stay than one of the chain hotels. Lisa at Reception, was vyer helpful
