Lovely staff, location was great, lots of walks, we used the pool which was good. Looked like room had just be updated, would recommend and book again

Okay but nothing great. Room was clean and comfortable but bathroom very small and narrow with cooking smells from kitchen below coming in at breakfast time. Room overlooked the bins and a staff smoking area. Car park seemed to be full of golfers despite signs saying it was for hotel guests only.

Evening staff very helpful. Morning staff at breakfast ok. Shirt from previous visitor still in wardrobe so obviously not checked. Cleaned well otherwise.Comfortable bed. Evening meal was well presented and tasty. The pool and gym are used as a sport centre, so roudy kids unsupervised kicking beach balls around were in there. One was hit in the face and got a nose bleed and blead around the pool edge and changing room. Can be expected if visiting in school holidays. Golf course challenging but enjoyable, with plenty of up and down hill as in valley, so be fit, have a motocadey or hire a buggy. Massage done well.

The rooms we booked were really nice and the bed was very comfortable. Facilities were good. Only disappointment was not being able to get a cup of tea or coffee at the bar, as residents, following the function

Fabulous pool for a swimmer. Fabulous food in the restaurant. Helpful reception. Wonderful surroundings.

Wonderful sized room, very clean. Unexciting food options. Room was cool - heating not on during the day. Not good in winter! Lovely bathroom all spotless.

Difficult review as the staff and location are very good, but the hotel itself and Wi-Fi issue means I can’t give it a very good score. The hotel is tired, and soulless. I used the bar area for food, and found it cold, univiting and wanting me to eat quickly and get out. There is no part of the hotel that is warm or inviting. The Wifi is woefull, no signal in my room and no phone signal so I couldn’t do any work! I will not be staying again.

Nice clean hotel, has spa which is really nice, gym, pool, jacuzzi. and can be used with stay. Surrounding area also lush.
