Very pleasant, comfortable one night stay. Hotel well placed for all Liverpool has to offer.

A lovely hotel which I'd happily go back to. Very quiet during our weekdays stay, cosy and well-equipped rooms, comfy beds, excellent bath - and a fantastic position, right in the centre of Liverpool. Walking distance to everywhere, but only a couple of minutes from the Liver building and the Tate on the riverside, the same from the main shopping street, and surrounded by bars and restaurants. Only irritation was the lift, which was small and slow - but we were happy to use stairs. Recommend Chop Chop opposite for a cheap and tasty lunch.

Birthday treat for my husband. Not sure what to expect from the reviews, but our stay at Heywood House was excellent. We stayed Monday to Thursday and no issues with noise, either from outside or in. Really lovely and quiet. Comfy bed, although the pillows were too high for me, telly worked and a huge bath which could actually be used as a bath rather than something to stand in for a shower. Reception staff professional and helpful. Special thanks to the lady with the dark hair who lent us the staff kettle when our one objected to me over-filling it. We really appreciated it. Location couldn’t be better. Just a few minutes from the river and the Tate and the Liver building in one direction, and the same distance from restaurants and shops in the other. Given how quiet the hotel was, it surprised me every time. Great city for foodies. We enjoyed all the lunch time specials and exploring the food halls. Lots of beautiful pubs although the beer selection is very different to that in London. Scousers don’t seem to be big on IPAs. Don’t expect to get friendly chit chat out of your bar staff though. With the exception of the Spoons, we couldn’t get anything out of them. Don’t let that out you off. It’s a beautiful city, lots to do and see. Would recommend staying at the Heywood if you can.

We were only in Liverpool for one night, but I wish it would have been more because of this hotel! So so nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Very good location in liverpool centre, clean room

The room is literally on top of a club that doesn’t stop from 5pm till 2am so avoid at all cost. The floor was shaking from the loud music and it is very hard to sleep. Our second room is a bit higher up on the roof but the air conditioning doesn’t work at all so it was hot all night!

Great hotel, very clean and modern look .. very quiet and comfortable beds . Breakfast was great too. I’d go back
