Heywood House Hotel, BW Signature Collection

Lovely hotel , near to all the attractions and city centre . Friendly staff , nothing is too much trouble ,they lent me a phone charger as I had left mine at home .

Hotel was conveniently located for the city centre. Easy to find and swift check in. However, no Aircon, it wasn't working. But we didn't get told it wasn't working until we were in our room. We wasn't offered to change rooms, instead a fan was provided, a very small one, so it was a warm night, mid summer. Comfy beds though!

The room I was allocated didn't have any of the stripey colours that I saw on the hotel.com website so I didnt feel it was the same hotel! It was very bland and non descript. I was a bit disappointed as the decor didn't excite me. I think the best thing for me was that the room had a kettle so i can make my own teas as I was tired after the day walking (as i couldnt check in at 12pm). They had Twinnings brand of teas and a snack packet of biscuits. I didn't see any of the White Company products that you see on the photos (the hotel should remove these photos as I was expecting these products). There was a brand that i didnt know about in the larger bottles of soap/conditioner stuck to the wall. There wasnt any toilet roll in the bathroom so I had to ask reception to bring me one. The room was stuffy even though the window was open. The air con didnt work. I did manage to sleep most of the night despite the noise, but the noise level wasn't as bad as I anticipated. Reception was manned and the male receptionist was helpful and polite. I didn't feel like I got my money's worth. The price of hotels in liverpool seem to be on the pricer side unless you're outside the centre or have a car.

The layout of the room was really bad nowhere to sit and do your face. The mirror in the bathroom was too far away and high up for my daughter who is just under 5ft. The noise from the bar below was unbearable until the early hours The bed was comfy and that’s about it

Lovely hotel perfect for a city stay. Exactly as described on web site. Would definitely recommend.

Had a room with a balcony which turned out a good choice. The balcony itself could have done with a little cleaning but was great to sit in the morning sunshine drinking coffee.

Everything was spot on

Greeted with a very pleasant staff member on reception. Chilled water available on counter which was a good touch on such a hot day. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Nice bathroom. Fridge contained tin of Coca Cola, Sprite, two bottles of still water & two Twix bars. Coffee/tea tray + coffee pod machine. DAB radio. My room had a balcony with table and two chairs which overlooked the street below, as it was a hot evening, it was nice to get some air. Very close to centre for all shops and bars etc. It's a one way street so if you order an Uber, they like to pick you up 50 yards away to the right. I'm a proud Cockney lad who's been coming to Liverpool since 1983, this City never fails energize, from the moment you step out of Lime St, one of the great city's of the world, what a place. I'f you never been, don't delay, book a train & book this Hotel, you can thank me later.

Great location. Rooms clean and beautiful. Large clean bathrooms. Great staff who are friendly and helpful.

The hotel had everything needed and wanted. The staff are really helpful, they assisted me in getting the AP downloaded for my having laundry done. The location is perfect with lots of good restaurants close by. I would choose this hotel always.
