Heywood House Hotel, BW Signature Collection

Very cool, large boutique room. Out door patio. Very comfortable and quiet, especially being located near dining and pubs.

Hotel was very clean, staff friendly. The mattresses were extremely firm, so much so I had back pain two days running. Major downfall was the noise. Monday and Tuesday evening so I thought it would be quiet however the refuse men were around at 5am one day followed by the street cleaning vehicles. Next day were the bottle banks being emptied at 5am, again followed by street cleaning vehicles. Lovely the streets were clean but on a short break I don’t want to be woken at that time in the morning. For this reason I would not return to this hotel.

The room I got given was terrible because the pub next door plays music so loud you can even sit down to relax as the bass is so loud the room vibrates. Secondly there is no overhanging bedroom light, only small lamps in the room which is really inconvenient as I couldn't see properly when I was getting ready to go out which I think it’s an absolute joke how there isn't a main light in the room, like what kind of hotel is this?? Supposed to be a 4 star one I hardly think so. Thirdly as I was checking out and I had to catch my train when I got to reception there a sign saying back in 5 minutes, I’m sorry but I have a train to catch I don’t have time to be waiting for staff members to comeback to reception so I can speak to them to check out. Overall I would never stay here again. This is probably one of the worst hotels in Liverpool that’s I’ve stayed in.

A nice place to stay when in Liverpool.

Good points: Location. Near to shops, bars etc Close to Albert Docks and entertainment. Staff friendly on arrival. Not so good points: Hotel tired. Smells musty in lobby areas. Facilities poor. Shower door broken, very dodgy lamps (didn’t want to turn on) Not enough plug sockets for today’s electronics. Booked a superior double. Only thing superior seemed to be floor we were on!

A smart, convenient and comfortable hotel.

Great hotel in the middle of Liverpool.Stayed for 2 nights for our wedding anniversary. Staff are really friendly & helpful. Room is really nice. We asked if we could have as quiet a room as possible ( bearing in mind we are in the middle of a city) they went out of there way & it was fine. Huge bed , everything was spotless. What more can you ask for. Thanks 😊 everyone for making our stay great 👍

Reception staff were great. Room had very comfortable bed but some lights did not work in the room. I did report to reception but fault was not rectified during 3 nightstay unfortunately. Well situated for citybreak.

Very good, nice quality 👌 tea 🍵 enjoyed. Comfortable bed,everything needed in a room will stay again if in the area as it is central to a lot of places we wanted ,felt it was well looked after and safe. on the whole we were very happy with our stay and didn't have to rush to leave
