Sunset Plaza Beach Resort & Spa Pto Vallarta All Inclusive

We absolutely loved our time at this hotel. The staff were amazing, the views were amazing, the room was amazing, and overall the entire hotel blew our expectations out of the park. We are already planning our return!

I loved the friendliness of the staff and the food was amazing , I would recommend this resort to whoever has not been here , I will consider coming back again

We just returned from an unforgettable stay at the resort and can’t say enough about the amazing team who made our vacation so special! From the moment we arrived, Jorge at check-in set the tone with his warm welcome and helpful attitude — check-in was a breeze, and he made us feel right at home. Throughout our stay, Mario and Andres, our butlers, went above and beyond to take care of every detail. Whether it was helping us with dinner reservations, arranging special touches, or just checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, they were always one step ahead and genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. A huge shoutout to Jorge poolside, who took such great care of us during our time by the water. His friendly service and attention made lounging by the pool an absolute treat. And we can’t forget Raul from the activities team — his energy and enthusiasm made the daily activities so much fun! He always found ways to get everyone involved and bring positive vibes to every event. The resort is beautiful, but it’s truly the incredible staff who make it exceptional. Thank you all for making our getaway so relaxing, fun, and memorable — we can’t wait to come back!

Great suite. Amazing views. Food is decent, but it has dropped in quality since I last visited about 11 years ago. The ceviches are not what they used to be. Room service is also decent, but not timely. Cleaning service is a little spotty without adequate resupply of towels daily.

It was nice for the price, swim up bar was the highlight! Amazing views right on the beach.

Spectacular views of both the mountains and the beach. Clean, comfortable room with good air conditioning. Service staff friendly and especially attentive/accommodating. Excursion prices were very fair and day trips were fun. Spa experience was outstanding.

The facility is adding more rooms. located on the beach but the beach is not cleaned everyday. There is very limited dinning options: Only 2 restaurants with one taking dinner reservations only with 6 tables while other takes all the load which means service is limited. As with other all inclusive resorts, food options are also very limited. We paid for food but ended up eating outside as choices were not vegetarian friendly or same 6 menu items repeating throughout the entire week we were there. Staff is super friendly, and work really hard. Our flight was later in the evening and checkout was ta noon. We requested to checkout but hang in the hotel for some time which was not welcomed and they removed our all inclusive access as well.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The food was the biggest negative for us. We did the all-inclusive and ended up eating out because outside of the food you could order at the pool that was good, everything else we has was not edible.

I had an amazing time here. The staff are five star, the rooms are lovely, the beach is great and so is the food. Lots of fun activities if you're alone or with a group. Definitely I will be back!
