The Pavilion Arms

I had an excellent suite set above a pub-with-integral-restaurant. It offered good value without being in the least pretentious. Staff were welcoming and efficient.

If their own car park was full, finding somewhere else to park was a minor hassle.

Classic English breakfast was fantastic.

Wir hatten eigentlich eine Nacht gebucht, mussten dann aus gesundheitlichen Gründen verlängern. Das Personal war super nett und das erste Zimmer war okay-isch. Das Frühstück war gut

Das Hotel benötigt dringend eine General Säuberung. Unser erstes Zimmer hatte Staubflusen an der Decke die Fugen im.Bad waren auch hier bereits brrrrr. Das zweite Zimmer war gelinde gesagt ekelhaft. Ich habe auf ca 4qm Teppich beim 80ten Fleck aufgehört zu zählen. Am Bettrand war alles ihhhh, ich hatte Wasser vergossen, wischte es auf und das Tuch war schwarz/grün/gelb...ich habe noch nie etwas Ekeligeres erlebt. Das Bad war ähnlich. Wäre ich nicht mit 40 Grad Fieber krank gewesen, ich wäre niemals hier geblieben.

Food was excellent and staff were friendly.

I arrived around midnight and I had clear instructions on how to get in through the side door. When I opened the door to my room I noticed that the radio was playing classic music and the small night lamp was on. Something you do not get in other places 👍
