The reception area was undergoing construction, which created a safety hazard. The keys were placed in an unsafe location within the work zone, making them difficult to access and posing a serious risk to guests.

We should have been told in advance that the property was under renovation - scaffolded building and portaloo across from our room. Although not being worked on while we were there it was a pretty poor outlook. Room photos online are much better than the actual rooms. We stay in Christchurch regularly and we all felt it wasn't value for money.

The staff was really nice

Office is under construction. But the lack of lighting outside the building was disappointing and made it feel unsafe and unwelcoming at night. The rooms were average, but the strong mouldy smell and visible mould in the bathroom were unacceptable.

The staff were helpful and friendly Got a deal which is probably closer to the correct price but still too much considering the conditions

The property is having major renovations, piles of rubbish, scaffolding, locks on doors old and temperamental, TV and remote old, wifi really slow, bed linen not commercially washed, cupboard doors didn’t close……

Internet kept cutting out. Due to renovations site was messy and outdoor undercover area, dirty.
