Review: Do Not Stay Here – False Advertising and Hostile Management Rating: ⭐ / 5 Warning: The photos on booking sites are fake. Do not be misled by the online listing for Arthur Court Motor Lodge on Sherborne Street. The reality of this property is a far cry from the professional photos provided. The Property & Arrival Deceptive Photos: The units do not look anything like the pictures online. The property is in a state of disrepair. Closed Reception: The reception area is currently closed and boarded up due to a previous fire that has never been renovated. No On-site Service: There are no staff or owners available on-site. You have to call a phone number just to get in touch with anyone. Room Quality & Maintenance Cleanliness: The unit was dirty upon arrival. I had to remove the bed covers because they were filthy, opting to sleep only with the sheets. Missing Amenities: Basic service is non-existent; they didn't even bother to replace the coffee in the morning. Broken Utilities: The TV in our room did not work at all. No Hot Water: On our first morning, there was no hot water. We were unable to shower or get ready properly before heading out for the day. Management Issues The most concerning part of this stay was the owners' behavior. When I raised my complaints regarding the lack of hot water and the broken TV, the owners were not only unhelpful but threatened to call the police if I complained again. This is a common theme here; I spoke with other guests who reported similar issues with cleanliness and poor service. Final Verdict: Please heed this warning. This place is neglected, dirty, and managed by people who are hostile toward paying guests. Save your money and your sanity—stay somewhere else.

Fremstod trist og mange planter ved motellets værelser gået helt ud. Tydeligt, der tilsyneladende har været brand i restauranten. Virkede underligt, at der ikke var nogen i receptionen.

Good location to city

Room smelt like curry and mould, bathroom was mouldy and half of the complex was burnt down. Was unaware of this and it had also been used as emergency housing so was not like the pictures online at all
