Fantastic amenities, the spa bath is amazing. Very clean and comfortable. The additional packages you can request are super handy and we were blown away with the roses, swan towels and platters! We have stayed here previously and will definitely be back. We love this spot for a wee staycation

Recht großes Zimmer mit guter Ausstattung

Zur Zeit gab es eine Baustelle, da ein paar Zimmer renoviert wurden. Manche Stellen im Zimmer / Bad wurden erneuert, jedoch nur zum Teil. Das angebotete Frühstück war auch ganz in Ordnung.

Good location walking distance from the centre of Christchurch. Local amenities as well for options to eat out and get groceries.

I do not recommend staying here! We had an awful experience. Arrived at motel and thought we must be at the wrong place. We had been advised the office was under renovation when I phoned a couple of weeks earlier to organise breakfast. However on arrival we were very surprised to see the whole office and half the motel rooms were blocked off due to a fire from mid 2025. There were only a few motel rooms still in use and one of these was being used for emergency housing tenants. The place looked like it was abandoned, very run down gardens and buildings. There was an envelope taped to the burnt down office with my name on it which had our room key in it. The Ed Sheeran concerts were on that weekend so we felt we had no choice but to stay there, accomodation was full everywhere. The room itself was really not up to standard, torn curtains, hairs on bed sheets, mould in bathroom, cupboards broken, the photos on their website are certainly not a true reflection of the motels. We stayed there about ten years ago, and I believe the photos are from back then or doctored. Definately false advertising. I complained formally to the owners, however they felt my complaints were unfounded. Absolutely not. They said they would give me a $20 refund. I was not happy with this but agreed to it, and put it down to experience. The refund never was received. Worst motel I’ve ever stayed in. No way will I ever stay there again.
