ibis Bordeaux Centre Gare Saint Jean

There are five Ibis hotels around the Gare St. Jean, and three within one block. Pay attention to which one you're staying at if you head out of the area and then return. Desk staff at the wrong Ibis hotel may not be less than helpful getting you directed to the one in which you're registered.

staff very polite and helpful. Breakfast excellent. Room cleaned everyday very well. Would stay here again.

Convenient location near station. Room fine for one person, with ample space and desk. Double glazing good against outside noise: could hear trains but not loud. Helpful staff, small restaurant a welcome feature. Room staff neglected to make up room one day — obviously a mistake. Could not open window, and with heat off for the season there was no ventilation.

Ok hotel for one night in transit - the room was tiny, the bathroom needed refurbishment and the location of the hotel near the train station made it very easy to connect between a late train and an early flight. The neighbourhood is ok, although again not where I’d choose to stay if I were holidaying in Bordeaux. Very nice and helpful staff though!

Location was fab, clean and tidy room as expected, the staff were very helpful and spoke great English. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Bordeaux!

The single beds are half the size of a double. So they are smaller than a standard single bed. It was very small. I’m not a big person but I struggled to sleep in it.

Nice location and staff but small room size. They dis have good sport channels though!
