Mt. Madison Inn & Suites

We only needed a place to rest and sleep before we went to Mount Washington State Park. The motel provided us that place for our mentioned needs. The Innkeeper made a speedy check-in and gave us the room on ground level because of my bad knees which I appreciated greatly.

The price is right for the value.

We checked in at Mt. Madison. The owner said they had a major pipe break a few days ago so they were having all guests stay down the street at their other hotel Gorham Motor Inn. We went down to the other hotel and our 1st impression was exactly how the room was: dirty, outdated, creepy. I called the owner and told him we were not staying and requested a refund. They gave the refund without hesitation and were very polite. I would not recommend staying at the Gorham Motor Inn and since they own Mt. Madison Inn I can’t imagine it’s much better. Hardly no other vehicles there the 4 days we were in the area.

Couldn't find anyone when we got thereand waited about 15 to 20 minutes in the office and still no one to be found so stayed eles where.

Nice place, slightly overpriced for what you get, but really not that bad.

Think 1950s Motor Court with an update to the 70s. Not sure what rooms the pictures of the room we got but they must have been from a hole in the corner as door almost hit Kind Bed when you opened it. Place was clean with carpets being done recently, updated bathroom. Bed was comfortable but sheets and spread were worn. Lamp on amoire was apparently in a fight and we were concerned the frig (we assume the frig is what made this room an upgrade) sounded like it was going to catch fire. Innkeeper keeps heat off when not rented so it too several hours for room to get warm and the bed to get comfortable enough to lay down without full on clothes. It was a room, relatively cheap, no major issues (except for frig and no heat for awhile).

Was a nice place to go get warm after a day out on the utv. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

This inn had everything you'd need plenty of towels shampoo and soap the room was very clean and organized, and the front desk had bottled water as well. the woman at the front was welcoming and understanding, at the time of year I visited the pool and hot tub weren't open but the area around it looked well-maintained. all the trails were near so driving wasn't too much of a hassle and it was not even 2 minutes from multiple restaurants. overall a good and affordable place to stay no matter what time of year.
