A Royal Experience at the Fort Hotel My stay at was unforgettable. The historic charm of the palace, combined with luxurious amenities, made it a unique experience. The rooms were elegant, the rooftop dining offered stunning views and delicious food, and the staff was exceptionally warm and attentive. The cultural performances added a magical touch. Very central location, perfect to explore the Jaisalmer city and fort. The property has a small museum as well which was free for guests. The architecture is really historic and has a wow factor. The cultural show during dinner was really nice and having a member of the royal family there was a great personal touch.

It was a bit too expensive with regards to the facilities. The breakfast options were limited compared to other similar properties.

A perfect hotel for exploring the fortress city. The room was large and comfortable with an electric heater ( much needed in January). The evening restaurant on the verandah served great food ( and you could get a glass of wine), and we were treated to a musical entertainment. The building itself is quite fabulous and the staff attentive and kind. Thanks to Deepak and all.

Room size was good

Had a lot of issues with this place. Room didn't have a proper heating facility, slippers not ready in the room, no air dryer. Constantly needing to call and ask them to bring things. The small fan heater provided in the room wasn't sufficient. The rooms are made of marble and stones, so it's super cold. We got moved into another room with a heat pump, and the new rooms heat pump wasn't working, and staff said it was. I made sure my family was coming they were also in a good room, and their heat pump was working perfectly. We wasted two 2hrs going back and forth over this. The next day i asked the staff to come and compare both heatpumos but no one did. I demand a partial refund for not providing sufficient facilities and paying 24000rs for a shithole like this.

The building is a beautiful heritage palace and the entrance is nice. Comfortable for drivers to reach and drop you off/collect.

The manager/head concierge who checked us in was very unfriendly and unhelpful. We showed him we were paying much mode than what the rooms were currently available for that night and kindly asked if we could at least get an upgrade to match the rooms price. He told us we would have to pay much more.. which seemed ridiculous as the hotel was half empty and we were already overpaying our room. We eventually check in to the Golden Suite - which is definitely not a suite and is very small, much smaller than the 51 m² stated on the website. Do not trust the sizes of the rooms or the categories. There was no heating in the room and Jaisalmer becomes extremely cold at night. The bathroom smelled of sewage and the bedsheets were covered in body hair as per attached pictures. Would never stay here again especially due to the unfriendly and unhelpful manager - the rest of the staff was nice.

Overall, this hotel is highly recommended for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

Best location, heritage property, Amazing stay , courteous staff n beautiful palace feel. Enjoyed food, room spacious. Strict timings for checkout, they also provided an extra bed on request .The only thing was a limited spread if you take dinner meal along with room. Rest all good.
