"Felt a little 'boutique'-like. Nice."

8.0

Spent one night only. Got the feeling I was in a bit of a 'boutique' hotel, which was pleasing. Being so close to the Shinkanzen station was a plus. Room was tiny, but that's par for the course in Japan unless you want to spend a lot more. But, being within walking distance of the significant museums and the Cathedral dedicated to world peace, was a bonus. We had a lovely river view and the opening window allowed fresh air into the room. Close to restaurants, monuments and Shinkanzen. Everything within walking distance.

"Not a good experience "

2.0

Booked a nonsmoking room it was next to the road and bridge the noise was bad you couldn't sleep so went to complain they said on the desk they did not have any more nonsmoking rooms so l said what about the hotel just over the river belonging to the same group the staff said they did not have any rooms they did not even check and l was forced in to a smoking room that stunk . My stay in Hiroshima was spoiled and l left a day early. The hotel is run down and in in head of a good overall.

"Nice, inexpensive hotel with no air conditioning"

4.0

My big beef with this hotel is that there is no air conditioning. Our room faced the sun at end of day and the room hearted up tremendously. We only returned at night when it cooled down. The staff were helpful and brought up some water and ice based cooling machines. Helped a bit. But without air, this was a miserable stay. Other than that, it was a very affordable, close the station hotel. I would recommend this if it had air, but lacking air makes this place awful. Keep in mind there are 2 APA hotels. Ours was small, very close to the station and lacked air conditioning. There is a much nicer (and more expensive) APA across the river.

"Close to Hiroshima JR Station"

8.0

Location is good. It is a small hotel with relatively old exterior, however, the room is clean and cosy. I lived in a double room with 2 beds, space were enough for 2 people.

"A nice experience."

8.0

Hiroshima is a large and nice city. The best is off the coast:the Miyajima Island and its Shinto Shrine with its famous Tori gate out at sea.

"Kyoto Japan"

8.0

My 3 rd trip to Kyoto and I love it just as much as my first time . Heaps to see and do and a transport system to die for between buses trains and subways, just excellent. If you are coming to Japan be sure to allow a few days here you will certainly not want for somewhere to go. Make sure you take in the Kyoto rail stations main stair case light show at night it is well worth the visit.
