Front desk staff very friendly but most of the restaurant staff didn’t even speak. We would still stay again since we love the resort. Would be nice if breakfast was offered. There was a rooster everyday that started at 4:30 a.m.

Needs updates
When I first read reviews of Tamarind, the reviews were mixed. I decided to take a chance and we couldn’t have been happier. The room was spacious and clean. The location of our room was fantastic, I walked out with my coffee every morning and was greeted by the ocean. The pool was right there and my daughter loved that. The pool was large, overlooking the ocean and well maintained. The location was great. The staff were beyond wonderful. They were so friendly, welcoming and were eager to help with anything we needed. Special shoutout to Lala, WOW, what a hard worker and a genuinely great person!!! The restaurant also got a bad rap on some reviews, however, the staff were absolutely wonderful, excellent service, and the food was pretty good. I would definitely go here again in the future! Thank you to everyone at Tamarind for helping to make our stay memorable!
