Belair Beach Hotel

I am writing this whilst still here which is unique. The hotel itself is nice. We are in an executive room overlooking the pool. The room is clean and modern with plenty of space . We did use the spare pillows found in the wardrobe the beds are very comfy. The staff have been very pleasant and helpful. The food as always is bog standard hotel food on an all inclusive. We always found something to eat so can’t complain. We never tried the snacks by the pool as a bit put off with how they were stored. So in essence it’s not a bad 3-4 star hotel. The only things that stop me from returning here are two. Firstly for us and the main one. Do not be fooled by the photos, the hotel is on a road that separates you from the beach. This road is a main arterial route into Rhodes town. You cannot escape the constant traffic noise. Especially in a sea view room or if you are by the main pool of a day and the beach. You are sunbathing at the side of the M6 coupled with the planes on the way in and the loud poolside music it’s not quiet or chill. They do have a quiet pool but not many beds and in the shade . Secondly the entertainment it’s located at the front of the hotel on the road so not private and it competes with the sound of the road. Only one waiter for the area so hit and miss if you get served. So most people go up to the bar. They only do bingo and karaoke with one night of Greek dancing. So not the best and we skipped it . Ixia itself is situated on the main road so all tavernas are on it . As a side note the WiFi is very patchy in your room but works by the pool. Nice hotel just not the best location for us.

Went 28 Aug to 4 Sept. Booked 3 rooms for family holiday and we were all allocated close on same floor. Rooms modern, spacious, very clean, walk-in shower. Big dressing table, big mirror with double socket underneath so ideal for getting ready on an evening. Main pool is noisy especially at daily aerobic time when it gets even louder. Quieter pool at the back. No problem getting sunbeds whatever time we went. Mixture of age groups. Beach over the road sunbeds 5 euros. Food adequate. We went half board but did eat out 4 nights at restaurants few doors up, all really good. Taxi to town 15 - 20 euros, 10 mins away. Old Town beautiful, do visit. Hotel staff all friendly and very helpful. Entertainment poor. Ideal sports bar 2 min away, (turn right) for footie etc, staff really friendly and good food. We had late pick-up but could sunbathe all day then use the showers near reception to change, ask for towels. Had a great time. We would all go back. If food and evening entertainment priority for you it may be a bit disappointing.

Myself and my husband Stayed here for 10 nights. I have never been to a hotel where the staff are so nice , friendly & helpful! The dinning room staff were amazing especially George! He is the nicest most pleasant man! A real credit to the hotel. The rooms were spotless , food was great and a great variety. Pool area was lovely. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely be coming back! 10/10 hotel! Gutted to be gone and can’t wait to return.

Food not 4 star. Not much choice and usually hotels of 4 star will have fresh fish and eggs being cooked for you. Only one small fish dish on offer which is strange for a med island .Music around pool far too noisy so can’t sleep and relax. More like a disco. I can’t even plug my earphones in to drown it out, as I can still hear it. Rooms and hotel clean and tidy. Nice staff.

Lovely hotel, very clean rooms. Entertainment is a huge let down. Pub quiz or bingo. Evening entertainment is a huge part of my holiday experience, therefore wasn't as enjoyable as could have been. Unfortunately I will not be returning

From start to finish our tui holiday to belair beach on Rhodes was very good with one exception and that was the poor entertainment at the hotel . The poolside music was virtually the same everyday and the evening entertainment program was awful with poorly organised bingo and equally boring karaoke and music quizzes. On a positive note the food was exceptional as was the service at all levels the restaurant manager and his staff were nothing short of perfect .

All staff throughout hotel very cheerful and helpful especially Kiki in the restaurant who was most helpful with Greek translations. I would definitely return

We stayed at the hotel on the 19th August for 4nights, from the pick up at the airport to leaving on the 23rd it was a great trip. The staff work extremely hard, hotel clean, lots of food available and variety. The pool is beautiful and not a huge problem with sun loungers. The rooms are large and clean and the air con is amazing. Location is fantastic and it's only a 7 minute bus trip to Rhodes (all info available at reception). We checked out at 11am and our taxi didn't come till 10.10pm and the hotel let us use the all inclusive all day and provided a shower and towels so we can stay by the pool all the day. The only downside was the waves of smell but that wasn't the hotels fault. We will be returning and this time with the children. All in all a great holiday.
