Pullman Brisbane King George Square

Was this n a balcony room with weeds growing everywhere and minimal furniture on balcony

The hotel is well located to public transport. There is no longer an Executive Lounge but has a taxi rank directly outside the property. We have previously stayed at the Pullman, but the standard has dropped since the last visit. This is not a five star hotel!

Location is fantastic. Close to Queen St Mall, Roma St Station and many busses. Room fantastic also. Clean. Lovely bed. Staff took a long time to respond to requests. Concierge was not usually around. All that said, we'll stay there again next time we're in Brisbane.

Very old property facilities. No one helps to bring the luggage. Doesn't like a 5 star hotel at all.

The worst experience and we are not even checked out yet. Checking in and we had to wait for our room. Fine but annoying when everyone else checking in around you. They take the longest to check you in. Unacceptable when they already have all your details and you are an Accor member. Waited waited waited and rechecked. Yes room ready but they have us in Mercure when we booked Pullman. Quick reshuffle and in we go to a Pullman room (which may have been already ready). The aircon is dodgy if working at all. Noisy on the roadside. Then we have 2 visits within an hour asking if we want room service. We had asked for late checkout but just confirmed when we returned last night to be told by the very helpful Oscar that nothing was in the system and he gave us 12 pm checkout today. So we got woken up at 9.20 for our first reminder by housekeeping that we should be checked out. Then we just had another at 10. Normal checkout time is 10.30. They have also removed the do not disturb sign (that we had to request). We will leave today and not be back. We will be cancelling the two future bookings we have made for August and September. We will be reporting our dismay to Accor and their brand reviews. The bars were not open last night (Saturday night) and all in all a crap weekend thanks to them. DO BETTER PULLMAN and MERCURE. Think about what service you look forward to and expect when on holidays.

Really disappointed, 3-star at best. The lobby keeps your hopes alive for the 5-star rating. Our old yellowed control for our air conditioning/heater was broken (dues given we had someone look at it after night two and we were given the option of a fan heater or a room change). The toilet seat did not fit the toilet bowl, the ranch slider to our "balcony" in our "deluxe" room could not be opened due to old aluminium joinery and outdoor furniture was perished and broken. I wish I could upload the pictures. Really sad about this we love Pullman Hotels.

Overall a nice property for the price. A little dated but location was perfect for us.

Dirty, bad front desk service

Perfect location. Breakfast is great, lots of choices. I will stay again in this hotel.
