Location, close to 99 steps from Church street and clean modern room.

Very umpersonal, saw no one during our stay and only informed of correct location 2 days before our stay. The picture of our room wasnt what we got.

Great location. I was taking part in the new North Yorkshire Challenge event. Lovely clean room. Good tea tray in the room. Liked the nice shower and toiletries.

Bed was too soft for my liking, (my preference I know)the room was quite warm when we arrived as the windows were closed. It’s a B&B but we had mixed messages as to breakfast being provided. B&B would suggest you do breakfast, the sign on the wall said breakfast room, but the info in the book said room only. As we didn’t see anybody about we couldn’t clarify so paid extra to go elsewhere, plus parking made our stay the equivalent of £150 per night. (Two breakfasts and parking)

Good location, nice shower.

Slightly dated and an old musty smell, especially in foyer. Very noisy from other rooms, especially very creaky floors which were much worse than most properties.

Really clean & comfortable, owners helpful and friendly. Great location near the harbour.
