The Lake Hotel Tagaytay

Beautiful view, good breakfast and the hotel is nearby sites to see. Unfortunately though, it was raining the whole 3 nights that we stayed, otherwise it would have been so much better. Will go back to this hotel.

Food during breakfast can be improved. Too dry. And does not match the weather in the area.

Great view of lake, cool breeze, 24 hour security, clean. Easy transport to town and to Manila as a bus stop is located a few feet away from entrance. Jacliner bus from Buendia Terminal stops opposite property ie at Petron Station. Restaurant did have some flies and d gate at pool was unlocked n this pose a safety issue. overall great plc for a nite or two

The view and Tagaytay itself was worth the trip. It was a busy time of the year. The children who stayed in the hotel were not considerate of the rest of the clientele who were staying in the hotel. They were all over the place, making so much noise specially when it was in the late hours of the evening. It would be a better situation if management get be more clear of their strict policies of the quiet time that should be respected.

I like the view, staff are courteous, and the piano downstairs is relaxing. There were just mosquitoes and a cockroach on the balcony :(

The view is nice felt like iam in heaven

We liked the view. Everything else was very disappointing. Heavily enhanced photos make it look good but it is not. Old, needs renovation, garden area was hugely disappointing. No seats to look at the view, scruffy lawn area, no plants. Breakfast a joke, plenty of flies. Shared tables in a basement like room. Smells to the left side of the pool, wouldn’t want to sit out there on the few seats available. Toiletries not replenished. Just one tube of shower gel and shampoo for 2 people for 2 days. Vouchers for the breakfast for day 2 were not provided even when we asked for them on day one, before we knew we wouldn’t want it anyway. This beautiful view is spoilt by a second rate hotel. We hope one of the big chains takes it over and turns it into somewhere worth staying. Getting there and back was a massive mission - no one wants the long drive, hence the extortionate price for a taxi.
