Hampton Inn Muscatine

Hotels needs upgrading and deep cleaning of common areas and rooms. Some lights did not work in my room, shower door broke off. My room also had a terrible cologne smell. Called front office five times with no answer. Front office staff not available on check in. I had to wait for a while to get someone to check me in.

Pool was so cold. Was told that the heat gets shut off by corporate at a certain date. Then was told that was not true. Either way we were stuck with it. They were out of tea for entire 5 days of our visit. We had to go purchase our own. There wasn’t any ventilation in our bathroom and told that there were only a few rooms where it did work. They said the hotel was getting a renovation this winter. The people taking care of breakfast were very king as well as woman that cleaned our room. Our bathroom door didn’t shut and piece on the bottom of refrigerator fell off. Dresser drawers also didn’t shut. They would open when you walked around the room.

Was absolutely satisfied with our stay at Hampton Inn, Muscatine! Friendly staff, excellent service, phenomenal breakfast! Thank you!

Just a nice place to stay and that we were able. To get in early as we ha d a wedding to get ready for and go to.

It was nice and we will be back.

The bedding on one of the beds smelled and had visible dirt. The bathroom smelled sour. There were splashes of stuff on a wall and a headboard. The room smelled like dirty feet. But the property itself was nice and well kept. Staff was really nice. I have pictures if you'd like to see.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Property was safe and well maintained. Would definitely stay here again
