Gorgeous gardens, friendly hosts and a wonderful location that is a short walk from excellent restaurants.

Afternoon tea at Cedar Manor was a wonderful experience. The host was very welcoming and informative about the delicious food, the friendly banter was appreciated as well. The food itself was fabulous and beautifully presented. The attention to detail was second to none. All the food was freshly prepared and presented with love and care. The cakes were little works of art. Cedar Manor itself is a lovely building with beautiful rooms in an idyllic setting. We will definitely book afternoon tea again when we are in the Lakes . This is our second visit to Cedar Manor in the last 8 months and it didn’t disappoint second time around. Both Caroline and Johnathon are excellent hosts , very friendly, caring and passionate about their hotel . It is situated perfectly for an easy walk into Bowness on Windemere, with excellent parking for residents. The hotel is lovingly decorated and superbly maintained. Breakfasts are something of a feast to start your day off , well recommended . We will definitely be returning in the future.

Perfect inn in Windemere! Picture perfect lovely with beautiful garden (compliments to the gardener!), delightful hosts, comfortable room, and delicious breakfast. I wish every stay everywhere could be this nice!

It’s very beautiful, a great location near the station and a busstop in front of the door. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming! Our room was beautiful and cozy and breakfast was very good. You get to choose the evening before and it’s made fresh.

Nothing

We absolutely enjoyed our visit to Cedar Manor. The location was only 10 minutes walk from the train station. The room and bathroom were spotless, the bed comfortable and the whole atmosphere of the house was inviting. A self chosen varied breakfast was served by our host Jonathan every morning with a smile and a little joke and the food ewas delicious. Having had a full 5 days of sunshine it rained on the day of our departure and since the taxi didn’t show up our host drove us to the station to get our train on time. Thanks again so much.

The decoration and attention to details are marvellous! Delicious breakfast! The host is very helpful. I didn't want to leave the place. The bed is queenly comfortable. Any princess would be happy in it)) My admiration of the team behind the running of the hotel.

It would be helpful if breakfast starts at 8 am at least.

What a fantastic place Cedar Manor is very very clean very well run by the team it was great to see Elizabeth helping dad Jonathan out at breakfast Saturday morning, great comfy beds, great location fantastic breakfast well deserved reviews and as a Coventry fan too a Villa fan take a bow. We will be back
