What a beautiful hotel, both inside and out . Spotlessly clean , beautifully decorated , with several personal touches inside the room . A very warm and friendly welcome from both Johnathon and Caroline , and that friendly atmosphere continued throughout our stay from all the staff. The breakfast provided was very generous and beautifully cooked . The hotel is appointed perfectly, with excellent parking facilities for residents. It is situated about 5 minute walk into windemere, and about a 20 minute easy walk into Bowness. If you are looking for an exceptional boutique hotel , offering a friendly and personal service, we would highly recommend Cedar Manor .

We had a terrific couple of days here. Very central and well appointed boutique hotel. The hotel is spotless, rooms are thoughtfully decorated, staff are lovely and everything is done very well. Breakfast is excellent. Will stay again.

Fabulous hotel, quiet, friendly ,beautifully decorated very comfortable rooms with everything you could possibly need. Breakfast delicious and very good idea ordering night before. Lovely lounge area for drinks. Very friendly owners and staff. Thoroughly enjoyable stay ,can't recommend enough.

Beautiful place - so cozy and welcoming. Jon gave us so much useful information about the area. We did a day tour by bus (which stops right outside Cedor Manor) and ferry to Grassmere, Ambleside, Bowness and back. Location couldn't be better - just ten minute walk to the center of town and the railway station. But what really made the stay so wonderful were the hosts - and the afternoon tea - still dream of it!
