"nice basic hotel, overpriced"

Nice basic room, very clean. Good location Good breakfast Nice bar, good beer.

Room clean but peeling paint especially in bathroom, basic decor issues need to be sorted. Could not work shower no matter how much I tried. This was worth maybe £80-100 a night, not £150 (although I paid less as through booking.com); suspect this is due to lack of alternatives. Staff a bit brusque, need some improved communication with guests
