Chantillys on the Bay

Property was conveniently located within walking distance to centre of town. Although a little dated the hotel overall was pleasant to stay at. Views were wonderful from our top floor room. Disappointing that the balcony had no roof so no protection from rain or sun. Kitchen in room was handy. On site restuarant was fantastic. Complimentary breakfast was delicious! Staff friendly and accomidating although house keeping a little below standard.

Excellent location. Food quite good. Bathroom is just plain bad bad design - enter bath room and have to step in shower area to get to toilet - not good when shower floor wet! I also wished they would repair the roof canopy so we could use the room balcony which has a lovely view. Its many years since cyclone Pam, but no sign of them putting back the cover, without which the balcony can only be used in good weather - I left stuff out on a sunny morning and it was drenched by lunch time. For such a relatively small amount compared with the value of the property, this is negligent.

Very close to the city, small and friendly, great food. Bought 7 nights including breakfast buffet but was disappointed to hear when I got there that they never offered it, only continental breakfast with limited options. Complained about it and was offered an upgrade to their resort (sister company) but I didnt take up on their offer as the location wasnt as good. I was told I could get anything I wanted from their continental breakfast menu then. I also had dinner included, which the staff and manager werent aware of that option either but I was told I could have anything from their menu, and I was happy as their restaurant is pretty good, as well as the staff. Overall, I had a good time with them

Nice room but bathroom wasn’t very clean and the people who designed the bathroom should be fired. Toilet is stuck behind the bathroom door and you can’t access it unless you step in the shower. They should replace the door for a sliding door or make it open the other way around. Other than that the rest of the room was big and nice, well equipped great ocean view, staff was nice and French toasts were good, great location too.

There was no lift and had to carry 3 large suitcases up the floors after a long flight.

View is exceptional staff very pleasant and helpful comfortable bed lovely clean pool

Location is excellent. You can walk to the restaurants or use the many restaurants around Chantillys. Great view from the unit deck, you will see the entire harbour..Perfect view and excellent location. In the past we have stayed 10 minutes out of town so it was nice to simply walk to places whenever we wished. The rooms need an upgrade. Kitchen area was run down, sliding doors need a strong arm to open and close. Fan in our bedroom didn't work however the air con was fine.
