Overall, I had a very relaxing and pleasant stay between soaking in thermal pools, eating and walking. Rooms are spacious, windows open (and to good views), toiletries have a great scent. Great varied breakfast. The spa is pleasant, they have sauna, hamam, and two thermal pools. The location is lovely for a getaway, with views over the bay and green hills behind (yet still not far from the city and reachable by public transport). There is a lovely hiking trail just behind the hotel. The highlight of my stay was Berna (guest relations) who was a great source of information about the hotel (and beyond) that noone else seemed to be willing to divulge. I was travelling alone, and talking to her felt like talking to a friend and made me feel very welcome. I saw that she managed to engage everyone who arrived at the hotel, and am sure this contributed to their pleasant experience greatly!

I wish the staff were more communicative about the rules and facilities, especially at the spa. Otherwise a brochure in the room or more details on the website would do the job. It wasn’t very straightforward for a first-timer. The housekeeping could do a bit better (nothing criminal though), especially the team in the pool areas where I saw litter from previous days in the morning. I also think body lotion must be provided (I did get it, but only upon request).
