Bell House Hotel & Restaurant

A two day stay at the Bell House on a business trip revealed a lovely building, in a great location. The staff were outstanding and the food served, both for breakfast and evening meals were superb. The only slight gripe I have is the fittings in my bedroom/bathroom were a little worn, resulting in the shower screen falling off the wall amongst other minor irritations. However this in no way spoilt our stay, and we thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Chose the hotel since it looked nice and ideally located. Staff were very attentive, the chef very accommodating and thoughtful. Food was good, both breakfast and evening meal. Parts could do with a lick of paint, but overall very pleasant. Would recommend for short stays or as a base for the visiting the beautiful surrounding countryside.

A nice friendly hotel ideal for business trips.

I think I had an unrenovated room. Very small boring single, but biggish bathroom all needed "doing up". Wonderful food, pub really authentic "olde English". Really friendly helpful landlord. Definately would go back. Beautiful village, very close to the motorway but you woud never know it.

Restaurant food a bit expensive. Rooms clean and well presented. Hallways tied. Need refurbishment. Pleasant staff, helpful and polite. Good free wifi coverage.
