Whyte Harte Hotel

The room was clean, tidy and nicely decorated. The bathroom was very clean also. The Wifi was excellent and the full SKY TV package was an unexpected bonus. Parking on site was limited but I didn't struggle to park on both evenings during my stay. The staff were friendly and helpful through the interactions that I had and the evening meal was enjoyable

Purely as constructive criticism: 1. I found the breakfast times for a business user to be a little restrictive. ( albeit you did accommodate my request for a 7.30 breakfast on the first morning) On the 2nd morning, your chef had only arrived at 8.30 which was a little late for my needs, so I left without breakfast. I would suggest either extending your breakfast times for an earlier start OR advertise your breakfast times on Booking.com as some others do. This would have enabled customers like myself to consider this. 2. I have requested a VAT Invoice for my stay, but I am yet to receive a reply or an invoice 5 days later. This could be improved in my opinion, certainly with the communication aspect, just to let me know you have received my request and will process it it shortly would help.

Lovely owners and staff. Very accommodating. Food was excellent and the breakfast was exceptional. Bed comfortable and bathroom clean. A beautiful old building in a quiet and pretty village.

Room was quite hot and the fan provided wasn't quite man enough for the job. That's being picky!

Love the location but mostly love the staff hospitality (Brian is a true gentleman) and the historical nature of the establishment. Facilities are nice and modern but the ye olde charm is there to entice.

Stayed for work purposes; did not know about this place, but definitely would recommend. Brian was very kind and lovely. The pub has a cosy familiar atmosphere, the rooms were a very pleasant surprise, very comfortable, clean and had a lovely night of sleep. Breakfast was also very good!

We were greeted by the host and made to feel very welcome. He helped my elderly mother up the stairs and made sure we knew how to operate the tv. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious!

The lead from the kettle didn’t reach the plug socket. We had to make a cup of tea on the floor!
