Nothing not to like

The host, Luis, was so warm and welcoming and helpful with our questions! He also gave excellent dining recommendations. The room was also clean and comfortable, and the apartment was in a fantastic location, close to the city's highlights - e.g. the beach, the old town.

Room walls were a bit thin, which means you can hear everything from water in the pipes to other guests walking to their rooms. Something to consider for those who are light sleepers.

Pension Joakina is a small three bedroom property with a communal and well equipped kitchen. On our arrival we were met by Luis who explained everything to us and gave us some great recommendations for food and sights. Our room was spacious and very clean and warm. We had an external private bathroom which was great. We would love to have spent more time there but were passing through on our way to France. Excellent value for money.

If you have a car and don't want to pay exhorbitant parking rates then the free carpark is a little out of the way, but accessible by bus and metro (which is quite a walk). That is the only thing and not a complaint. Just something to be aware of. The staff were very helpful with information regarding parking.

Todo, la atención al recibirnos, los detalles en la cocina, super cómodo, hasta te ofrecen paraguas en la habitación y toda la información del lugar! La ubicación excelente. Mas que recomendable!!!
