I found Pelicanos Grande to be a very positive experience. The staff were friendly and attentive. I loved their kindness and humor. The food was excellente! The pool & beach very nice! Our program guy who did the water aerobics was very funny and we all had a great time partaking in the fun! My only complaint was the room. The beds could be upgraded and warmer blankets. Also not having a patio kind of sucked so make sure you request one ahead of time. Also no wifi in the bedrooms so bring a good book to read at night. Also Sky Lounge is the best place for drinks! Perfect for watching the fireworks that happens almost every night!

Plaza Pelicanos Grand-Porto Vallarta . Great location and staff. The property was clean and safe. The food and beverages were good but a bit on the repetitive side (Buffet only). The rooms and resort are dated and in need on a complete update. I would liken the resort to an 1990s Best Western on the beach. Probably 25 years overdue for a facelift. The rooftop bar/deck was great for sunsets and watching fireworks. Overall it was a great value . If you want a modern resort spend another $600 pp for a week stay at a newer place.

Todo muy bien! Limpio y ordenado. El staff muy amable! Todo estaba cerca, las albercas y las zonas de comida. La comida muy rica. Un buen lugar si vas con niños y familias grandes!

El estacionamiento es demasiado chico y no hay valet parking. Te mandan a un estacionamiento que ofrecen ellos ahí cerca pero tienes que ir caminando y si traes niños y viajas solo o con adultos mayores y sin mucha ayuda puede ser pesado eso. Como nosotros éramos muchos no hubo mucho problema pero creo si es necesario saberlo.

Nos encantó pasar navidad ahí. Traíamos varios niños y fue facilísimo saber donde estaban todo el tiempo porque las albercas y las zonas de la comida estaban muy cerca. El staff muy buena onda y la ubicación muy buena

Lo que no nos gustó es que había poco estacionamiento y no había valet parking, entonces varias veces tuvimos que ir a dejar el carro a un estacionamiento que está cerca pero teníamos que ir por el carro o regresar caminando. Eramos muchos entonces no hubo problema pero si vienes sin ayuda o con niños o adultos mayores alomejor puede ser un problema.

The resort is small but adequate. The restaurant used to have a greater variety of food nights. If your from North America (Canada & U.S.) they no longer have TV stations, you can watch. All stations are in Spanish except CNN, Fox news, and BBC. So, if you have children there is no TV for them.
