Plaza Pelicanos Grand Beach Resort All Inclusive

Location on the beach; stuff is very nice

Too noisy like rest of the my Mexico experience.

Food was good and the suite was very large.

No internet in the rooms, have to sit in lobby to use it Suite don’t have mini fridge and bed not as comfortable.

-Older resort so not great sound proofing between rooms but luckily guests relatively quiet. - Ocean views only for owners which is half of hotel. So you're facing the pool. -Music at pool was INSANE LOUD 1st 3 days 10 and 12 hours a day. One day electronic to boot. Noone liked it except the dj. Finally after 3 days of complaining music turned down and calmer nice music rest of our vaca of 2 weeks. -Older crowd generally but some young couples with small children. --Food good, service great, drinks weak. - Great beach and locale; 20 min fast walk to malecon. Quite a few beach and pool chairs as well.

The ocean was great. Everything else- 0/10

AC didn’t work, they moved us to a room without hot water, they moved us to a room that the AC didn’t work again. They do not have WIFI, advertising it is a lie. Staff was rude and they will try and charge you for anything they can think of to gouge you at check out. This hotel is a scam

This is a small all-inclusive resort which has a very friendly feeling with excellent staff. The buffet features several options for three meals/day which are all adequate. The restaurant is a bit more limited so generally we found the buffet offered more selection. This is my second time in two years at the resort - I'll likely go back again next year because the value is pretty much unbeatable.

The facilities are very dated with some rooms being better than others. I think the bigger issue is the WIFI which is really temperamental. I would consider getting a data plan to avoid the aggravation of their wifi.

The service was terrible. Front desk staff were rude. Its all inclusive unless there is an upcharge for everything. The hotel water you couldn't drink if you ask for a bottle of water it was at a cost. Its a small outdated resort. The location was not the best. I would not recommend this hotel. The value for your money could be better spent somewhere else.

Las habitaciones son limpias y cómodas, la comida es muy rica y había variedad, el servicio todos fueron muy amables y atentos, nos tocó ver 3 espectáculos, el Sky bar muy tranquilo y el hotel está cerca de la marina y del centro te mueves fácilmente caminando o bien en auto o camión.

Lo único que no me gustó es que sólo hay una alberca😅

This resort is quite nice. Its located directly on the beach and isnt huge. Chairs were occasionally difficult to find but staff was quick to magically set up some additional when asked. The food was good and varied while still keeping the classic staples expected at a resort in Mexico. There are older rooms and newer rooms. One highlight here is the "Sky Bar" which is, you guessed it, on the rooftop and overlooks EVERYTHING. There are 2 hot tubs there for the cooler evenings if desired. We enjoyed the morning view watching for humpback whales. And they were there!!! Keep watching because they really are there usually when the water is quiet of the busy boats and people before 830am. There is a lot within walking distance if you need Tylenol, sunscreen etc. We took a 15 minute taxi to the Malecón for 100 pesos and walked most of the strip. 200 to get home- rush hour and we had walked a long distance! I honestly didn't feel unsafe at any time while off the resort. Honestly, if I could, I'd go back immediately because there was so much more I wanted to see.

My second time at this resort. It is very small compared to its neighbours which is fine with us. The facilities are definitely dated and the food can be a bit boring but you will not find a better value for your dollar/peso in PV than here. Better still the staff here are sooo amazing and seem to genuinely want to help/serve you. We will definitely be back.
