Please note the Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf & Spa is completely nonsmoking. The spa opening hours are as follows: Monday – Friday: 06:30 until 22:00 Saturday, Sunday and Bank holidays: 08:00 until 20:00 Children's swimming times are as follows: Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays: 08:00 until 09:00 and 18:00 – 19:30. During school holidays, 7 days a week: 08:00 until 09:00 daily To use the swimming pool facilities during 10 am and 6 pm you need to book a 2 hours pool session in advance with the property. No lifeguard will be present at the pool area. The property has strict child supervision policies in place. A deposit may be required at the property.

"University reunion trip"

Was absolutely blown away by this place. Thought it was amazing value before getting there but after the stay, I will 100% be going back soon and will be recommending it to anyone who listens! Beautiful spa and rooms, excellent dining facilities,stunning golf course in excellent nick but the thing that sets it apart from any place I have stayed is the staff. From the golf pro shop, to the receptionists, to the housekeeping, the bar staff and the waiting teams, they were ALL exceptional and really made the stay special. Even the maintenance and grounds crew were smiling and welcoming. Special mention to the lovely pregnant member of staff who was in the half way house trolley and was just a charming lovely lady. It was only later in the bar we realised she was expecting! What a magnificent set of workers in an amazing place that was spotless and a gem of a find.

Views were beautiful!

Location was really in the sticks Wasn’t clear on where the reception was it just looked like it was all for the golf Rooms were rundown, stains on the bed runner, no fridge in the rooms, air con broken could only use fans, paint was chipped on the walls. Also spa was over crowded, and they put lanes up in the evenings which feels more gym like than spa.
