Please note the Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf & Spa is completely nonsmoking. The spa opening hours are as follows: Monday – Friday: 06:30 until 22:00 Saturday, Sunday and Bank holidays: 08:00 until 20:00 Children's swimming times are as follows: Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays: 08:00 until 09:00 and 18:00 – 19:30. During school holidays, 7 days a week: 08:00 until 09:00 daily To use the swimming pool facilities during 10 am and 6 pm you need to book a 2 hours pool session in advance with the property. No lifeguard will be present at the pool area. The property has strict child supervision policies in place. A deposit may be required at the property.

Location was great

Only issue is that you have to book a slot to use the spa facilities. When booking a spa hotel you expect to be able to use them throughout the course of the day. Not book a “2 hour slot” and then you’re forbid from using it again

"Lovely location and spa but good and bad WiFi let this establishment downthis"

Beautiful location, good spa facilities, and all the staff were impeccably friendly!

Food quality was really bad. We ate twice at the sports bar and the food was just awful! Breakfast was slightly better but I ordered poached eggs which arrived 20 minutes later totally cold and solid yolks. The WiFi made the online calls I needed to make for work totally impossible. The hotel really needs to upgrade WiFi or make it known that it is completely unreliable. I tried every location possible- the calls just kept dropping out. As there’s also no phone signal it makes working online impossible.

"Lovely short winter break with great gym and pool."

Lovely setting in the Dedham Vale. We really enjoyed the gym facilities and the pool area. Good evening meal in the restaurant and the breakfast selections were good.
