Amphora Hotel

Best choice for our stay in Chania!! Im so happy I choose this hotel, it is so charming and close to everything. The hotel staff was fabulous and extrememly helpful with their recommendations! We stayed in a large suite with a balcony and had the best view of the harbor. The breakfast was delicous as well. It was truley perfect. I would defintely recommend everyone to stay here!

Lovely location and ambience. Our period suite felt like we were staying in an old traditional Cretan house. Nice roof terrace for when you want privacy or get away from the crowds. There was a noise issue in room 6 from a music bar below the hotel but Samuel dealt with it and changed our suite for us without hesitation. We had a wonderful holiday.

We had a large suite with a partial sea view over the harbour at one end and another window overlooking the cobbled street. The room was very spacious and quiet with a large bathroom. It was beautifully decorated and very clean with good air conditioning. All the hotel staff were lovely and friendly - breakfast was of very good quality and we had several evening meals in the restaurant. We would definitely go back !!

We thoroughly enjoyed the experience of staying in this 600 year old building. The service was fantastic, accommodating our extremely late arrival in the small hours of the morning and helping us with our heavy suitcases. We had such a wonderful time in the old city of Chania, made even more special by this fabulous hotel.

What an amazing hotel! The hotel itself was so cozy, the staff made it an even better stay though. Every single person who worked there was above and beyond fabulous. I cannot wait to go back to Chania and stay here again! The restaurant was epic too!

This time, we got the suite with balcony on the seaside (room 6, I think). Comfortable, roomy, amazing view on the Old Venitian Port. High ceiling with wooden beams, classy antique furniture. Close to everything. Warm welcome as usual.

lovely spacious room, but bathroom was down a small circular staircase. very quiet. terrific rooftop spot for breakfast.

Even though we arrived very late in the evening, Augustine met us and helped us to our room. The room was small but suited us perfectly. The view of the harbor was amazing from our room as well as the two rooftop patio areas. Restaurants, shops and places of interest were within walking distance. Breakfast was served in a tiny courtyard and a large restaurant connected to the hotel was along the harbor.
