Amphora Hotel

Amazing characterful building in centre of Old Town.Room was great with bedroom on upper floor up a spiral staircase!We enjoyed the good quality breakfasts in the courtyard.One evening we had dinner excellent food and wine in a charming setting.

Very relaxing and interestig town with some good shops especially book shops.

What a great hotel! The staff were friendly and more than helpful and the our room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, right in the middle of the Chania old town with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Also, this hotel is tight on the pedestrian walkway that follows The shoreline of the lovely old harbour. It is particularly pleasant to sit on the rooftop deck and enjoy the magnificent view.

Fantastic hotel,great staff and really good location. We loved this hotel. Homely great balconies, loved walking out of the hotel into the port or beautiful side careless streets. The staff will collect your bags for you from your car. Not 5 star, but loved it.

The hotel was really nice. The staff were terrific and very helpful. They gave us recommendations and arranged our taxi to the airport. The room was very comfortable and had a great view of the harbor. The sole reason for giving Amphora a "terrible" rating is that there is a bar on the bottom floor that played loud music all night long. We did not get a single night of sleep. The bass guitar and drums vibrated throughout the building from 1am to 7am. It was HORRIBLE!!

A lovely hotel in a great location with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.

Very lovely room (suite) which had lovely views of the old city harbour. Loved the downstairs spiral staircase to the bathroom. There is a really lovely vibe of the location of this hotel nestled amongst a range of other well decorated and ornate premises in the local area.

This hotel is right in the Old Town of Chania. It is like a step back in time! Our room was very clean and comfortable and we had a balcony overlooking the harbor. It was lovely and authentic. The breakfast buffet was very nice with the ability to eat inside, outside on the cobblestone path or upstairs on the rooftop garden. Everything in the room worked very well-( air conditioning, shower, toilet. ) The restaurant was excellent! Best food and price all along the Harbor, plus the hotel gives a 10% discount if you dine there. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
