We are frequent visitors to Hanmer Springs and have stayed in a variety of accommodation types and locations. The St James is my favourite thus far. From the friendly and personal check-in experience to the generous luxurious, immaculately clean and well appointed room ,The St James did not disappoint. The location was fabulous - adjacent to the shops and town centre, close walking distance to the thermal pools, recreational activities, restaurants and cafes along with outdoor walking tracks and amenities. I will definitely be back , this time for a longer stay.

Excellent stay in smart clean apartment in perfect location for enjoying the springs. Hugely helpful reception staff advised where to eat and best things to do. Lots of space and room to relax. Highly recommended place to stay for a visit here.

All brilliant, even supplied towels for the thermal springs in a carrier bag for. Would give it 6*. Best motel we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in loads.
