"Hotel is nice, clean staff is friendly"

6.0

The hotel needs updating like air conditioning in all the rooms. I booked it through Expedia and Expedia doesn’t mention anything about NO AIR CONDITIONING. It was terrible very hot and humid in the room! The kids had fun in the pools and the food sold in site is descent. The parking area needs improvement as well.

"Great Hot Springs"

10.0

Several thermal pools, a couple of natural saunas, swimming pools, water slides for the kids.Caferiatiera style restaurants ,all of which close early in the evening.Very crowded weekends but as this a spacious facility no problem here.Older rooms very clean.Easy bus, taxi access to Ajijic and Chapala. You can come here for a daily entrance fee of 285 pesos (adults) to use most of the facilities without staying here.In this case bring your own towels.

"A Hidden Heaven in San Juan Cosalá"

10.0

Absolutely beautiful and relaxing place. There are six jacuzzis: oatmeal, bougainvillea petals, apple cider vinegar, coffee, soy milk, etc. Then you immerse yourself in mud, dry by the lake, go through a last pool and finally get a fabulous massage.

"Pleasant stay!"

6.0

Great view to the Chapala lake, Termal waters are fantastic. If you don't go in car, be prepared to take buses to Chapala and to get there, but it worth it!

"Great cheap spa but terrible wifi"

8.0

3 day stay with my two kids. Was given a very comfy room with nice balcony view. I got the spa package deal that was about 200 pesos. food was decent unside but heard that restaurants around area are pretty good within walking distance. Only one grocery/liquor store around the corner that could save someone that's suffering from last minute munchies. The only downside is the wifi. It rarely worked but if you are there to enjoy the spa and enjoy the hot spring water and pool, then definitely visit this place.

"An interesting experience"

8.0

If you are looking for an interesting experience, this place is nice. Especially if you pay for spa access. The grounds are pretty, but don't expect superb quality in the building since it is older. The drain areas smell a bit. My room had a few small cockroaches. I did love the pools. We went on a weekday so there were not many people there, which is fine by me. I hear the place gets packed and there certainly is room for that. We had wonderful weather so we spent a good time in the thermal pools and I did a spa day. It is about 15 minutes away from Chapala which is a nice drive, and it is a pleasant living from what I see. Picturesque and I was there the evening of Oct 18 through early morning Oct 21. There is one particular food stand within the premises that sells really good tacos and shrimp tacos with all the fixings and fresh salsa. There are other restaurants but that one is very good. Apparently it is slow on Mondays, one of the thermal pools closes for maintenance that day as do a few of the eateries. The staff are welcoming and the grounds are fairly quiet after 7pm when they close to the general public. I liked it...it was relaxing and we had great views of the areas on the other side of the lake.
