The Gables Inn

Bathroom was nice, shower pressure was good.

Pool was not usable, floating garbage & only half full. Pictures look much nicer than in person, had to plug in fridge/microwave & turn on air conditioner. Had to wait for the room to be usable.

Spider webs everywhere. Cute room though, more like an apartment. Tv didnt work and the pool wasnt filled.

The location was great for our needs. We liked having the little kitchen. The wifi was very convenient. The bathroom was newly renovated, and the TV was new with a good selection of channels. There was new tile and carpeting.

Although the room was mostly clean, there were some issues. The windows and screen needed to be cleaned. There was no coffee maker at first, which the owner gladly rectified but the switch to turn it on was missing, so we could not get it working. The toaster was old and the toggle had no protective cover, which could be a hazard. We could have used a tub mat. I could not see a fire/smoke alarm.

It’s not up to the standard. Over priced for the amenities.

Beware. This is a terrible experience. The door to the room wouldn’t lock , the pillows were all stained , holes in the comforter , it’s balls under the bed , not even had the clock plugged in , power in the bathroom didn’t work, no blow dryer. Over all it’s my worst experience and I travel for work as I’m a sales rep and stay at many hotels

The staff allowed us to register early in the morning as our schedule changed making our arrival hours earlier than the published check in time. The Gable's staff were very flexible. The motel is right beside John's restaurant, one of the best family eatery in Ontario.
