The Gables Inn

Very basic but a bonus to have kitchenette. Didn’t like having to pay $10 extra for 2 beds that had been ordered

The rooms really smelled - not really sure of what. Pool closed down and not operating.

There was no coffee machine in the room, only 2 plastic cups. TV was a good TV, but cable service wasn't great, not many channels to choose from. The mini fridge needs servicing. it would freeze can's of pop, and the ice box didn't get cold enough to make ice. There was no Ice Machine to use either. Internet isn't high speed, even though they claim it to be. the main office doesn't ever turn off the open sign, but they lock the door and don't always answer the door bell. We needed new sheets and the lady at the front said that she had to go get her car serviced before she could help us. a pool is on site, but it is only useful if there is water in it. when i went to checkout, the main door was locked, and the man that answered the doorbell just took the key, and didn't seem to speak any english. we had neighbors that would yell at night, and work on their bikes late in the parking lot right outside of the door, and nothing was being done about it by the staff. I wouldn't recommend this place. Go to the Holiday Inn or the Hamptons Inn.

Ok for one night stop over on way to USA. Bathroom was renovated and clean. Rest of room could use some updated. Carpet wasn't very clean..baseboards very dusty. Check in was easy and person was friendly and welcoming.

Wonderful proprietor. Wonderful property for the price. This facility is being improved past its already pleasant location. Excellent Donut Shop next door, step out your hotel door and walk 1 minute to breakfast. Very caring owner. I was very happy to find this location and would never hesitate to stop by again. Major shopping and eating within 2 km.

Excellent will use again

Didn’t like anything.. I was fearful the entire time I was there from crackheads that were living there and dealing. Tons of sketchy people coming and going all night and day. The room stunk, beds were dirty. Toilet wasn’t bolted to the floor. Television didn’t work more often then not. As well as wifi.. these are things that should be working with the price that is being expected for this dump.

Comfortable beds efficient kitchenette and wifi access!

Was in the area for hockey. Great room for price. Recently remodled kitchenette and bathroom-very nice. If ever back in the area would stay here again.
