The most filthy "resort" on Koh Samui. Nice views of construction site. Nice moldy rooms. Nice overpriced frozen microwaved foods. Nice old lumpy musty mattresses. Nice unkept gardens. Nice giant insects everywhere. Nice cliffs and hills to climb. Nice teenage social media influencers everywhere. Nice example of a 3 star hotel.

Quite enjoyable stay! Very clean and peaceful. The pool was nice and the restaurant food was delicious.

Phenomenal hotel up top a hill in Koh Samui. Great if you are trying to stay put or want to wander out. Hotel provides a free shuttle to the hot spots. The cliff pool will be something i dream about for the next year it is stunning on a sunny day to lounge around. Hotel breakfast was also delicious with great specialty coffees! Would highly suggest if you are looking for a quiet and sexy getaway !

As avid World Travellers, this was our Eleventh long term stay here ... yes ... it really IS that good!!! Firstly, the Location & Views, the Entire Team and the onsite Amenities are Fantastic! The Reception Team greet you upon your arrival with a very welcome cold drink and a cold flannel - ideal after a long journey! You are escorted to your room in a golf buggy, swiftly followed by your luggage! The Reception Team do a wonderful job of taking care of your every need, and also booking the Complimentary Daily Shuttle which is essential, and takes and returns Guests to Bophut and also Chaweng (so you can explore the areas with ease duing your stay at Mantra Samui Resort). Special Thanks to Ying, Ton, Kittiya (BB) and Ling! We reserve the 'Love Ocean View' Room, which is large and spacious and thoughtfully designed, and includes private terrace with 2 sun loungers for the occasional day when you prefer to sunbathe in private. The Housekeeping Team are very, professional and excellent and truly do a wonderful 'Daily Clean' Service, ensuring the room is immaculate and the Bathroom/Shower and Beverages are re-stocked. Special Thanks to Namwan & Nan! We can highly recommend the 1 Hour Complimentary Pilates Classes (held at 7am on Monday/Wednesday/Friday in the designated Studio complete with Ocean Views) with a wonderful Instructor named Praew (Mallika) and also the 1 Hour Complimentary Yoga Classes (at 7am on Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday & Sundays) - with a variety of Instructors on different days (namely Ohm & Noon). Special Thanks for helping us in our quest to 'Get Fit'! We also utilised the very well equipped onsite gym (just 1 minutes' walk from the Pilates/Yoga studio), followed by a swim in THE MOST Amazing Infinity Pool ... all before Breakfast each day! Breakfast is delicious and varied, with a large option of buffet style food (genuinely a 'something for everyone' buffet, coupled with a separate Menu from which you can place orders for a variety of freshly cooked, delicious dishes, served within minutes of placing your order, by a dedicated Team at the open air restaurant which has the most stunning views across the Bophut Bay ... such a wonderful start to every day. Lunch and Dinner is also served at this Restaurant and is highly recommended! Alternatively, you can order Room Service, which is a very convenient option. Special Thanks to Poppy, Nan, Fia (Trainee), Palm (Trainee), Kob (Chef) and Fai for the excellent Service! Throughout the day, whilst enjoying a luxurious and wonderfully relaxing time on the numerous sun loungers overlooking the pool, you can either utilise the 'swim up bar' or request drinks (cocktails, mocktails, beers, smoothies, soft drinks, etc.) to be served to your sun lounger! The Team are professional and ensure everything is to hand. There is a Fabulous Jai Spa, staffed by a wonderfully experienced Team of Ladies who are extremely strong and experienced masseurs. This is well worth a visit during your stay! What we believe is unique about the Mantra Samui Resort is that it is the Perfect destination if you are searching for a well deserved holiday with Relaxation and Wellness in mind, because you can enjoy the onsite pool, gym, pilates & Yoga, followed by the Spa, and there is even an extremely well equipped and spacious 'Work Station' onsite, which includes a number of individual desks, charging points for laptops and mobiles, and a tea & coffee making facility, over looking the Ocean (the best 'Office Views' I have ever seen!) should you need to 'touch base' with work at any time during your stay! The Room sockets are all (very thoughtfully) designed to accept UK plugs (so there is no requirement to pack or purchase adaptor plugs for this trip!). There is a THB 600 one way Airport Transfer option available, which you can pre-book for added convenience. The Mantra Samui Resort is benefitting from the (relatively recent Appointment) of a new General Manager, in James Ransby, and he is proving to be an asset in his innovative and forward thinking style, determined to constantly improve an already exceptional Adult Only Holiday location with Wellness, Relaxation & Health in mind. We particularly enjoyed the option of 'Manager's Welcome Reception' on Mondays & Thursdays, which enables Guests to meet & chat informally with James over a complimentary drink, as he makes himself readily available and accessible to obtain regular feedback and show a great interest in the views of all Guests. The Mantra Samui Resort has, very easily, become our much preferred 'Go To' Vacation destination for the above reasons, and more. We have re-booked for my 'Special Birthday' in 2026 and we simply cannot wait to return. It feels like a 'Home from Home' destination and we sincerely THANK the Entire Team (even if we haven't included your name) in this genuine and heartfelt review!

We visited mantra samui on 18th of March for our honeymoon. Honestly one of the best experiences we ever had. We booked a wow apartment, the room was incredibly clean and needless to say we had an amazing view of the whole island and the resort itself. The staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful and always smiling. Breakfast had everything you needed, the pool was amazing and also had a nice view. Totally recommend it and i hope we are able to revisit again in the future!!

Rest every thing was okay , it is away from main road and beach , there should be car service 24/7 because the road to hotel is very steep , there should at-least be one milk beverage like cold coffee or any flavoured milk

We spent an amazing 12 days at the resort and couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing experience. It’s by far the most peaceful hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The views from both the pool and restaurant were absolutely breathtaking. Every meal we had was delicious, and the hospitality was outstanding. The General Manager and staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and always eager to help. We truly can’t recommend this place highly enough and are already looking forward to coming back! The views and property design are excellent. The downside is it is not easy to go out, Your day really needs to be planned otherwise constantly paying for taxi. Not easy to just go for a walk.
