I loved my stay at Mantra! Wonderful staff, amazing views, and nice clean/ spacious room. Close to fisherman’s village where there are tons of shops, restaurants, and a night market.

Wow, we had such a great experience staying here. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and get the most out of our stay. The restaurant was fantastic and the pool offered amazing views. The gym was the best equipped that we had in our whole Thailand trip, they have all the equipment that you need to have a good workout. The resort itself is located up on a hill a little ways so it offers a nice quiet environment. The rooms were very clean and also offered amazing views and ice cold a/c. This is a great resort for couples wanting to stay somewhere away from the buzyness but yet still close enough to town to enjoy everything that koh samui has to offer. I highly recommend this resort.

The views from this hotel are absolutely breathtaking, especially from the pool, which offers a stunning backdrop. However, the trek to the pool can be quite challenging due to the hotel’s steep hillside location. Additionally, the stairs between rooms can be noisy, making it easy to hear people going up and down at all hours. The staff were incredibly friendly and gave a warm welcome upon arrival. Housekeeping did an excellent job every morning, keeping the rooms spotless. However, the shuttle bus schedule could be more frequent, as the hotel is quite a distance from most attractions. We ended up relying on taxis since the steep hills made renting a scooter less appealing. The hotel’s food was average—breakfast was nice, but the restaurant’s atmosphere felt a bit lost, with chalk signs making it look more like a hostel. Some of the staff could also benefit from additional training, especially in coffee preparation. Overall, it’s a lovely little hotel, perfect for those who enjoy being away from it all. If you don’t mind the secluded location and the steep terrain, it’s a great place to relax and take in the views.

Mantra Samui Resort is clean, quiet, and safe. It is located "on the hill" as locals call it, as opposed to being on the main strip in town. Be prepared to either rent a taxi, moped, or ride a resort shuttle to get to town. The resort shuttle has a schedule that is available at the lobby and accessible by QR code. The QR code ia located in the room, or un the lobby. The staff speak minimal English, but google translate can be helpful. Staff take you to your building by golf cart and are very helpful. The resort restaurant features mostly bland, European/American style foods. The restaurant staff have room for improvement. If you have a scheduled activity, don't wait for the restaurant staff to provide your check. Call them over and request it. They don't attend to the guests often. There are exercise classes included in the resort price that occur different times throughout the day. There is also an infinity pool, a spa, and a work center. The view is amazing. Overall, great stay!

Sits upon hill above the town so you have a beautiful view but must rely on hotel shuttle or commercial taxi to get into town. Lots of great places to eat right on the beach in close by Fisherman’s Village

This is a great Hotel like a Nirvana In the middle of the more busy part of Ko Samui. Very nice and Thai style. In the middle of a jungle like Trail and fish swimming in the creeks abourd the trees. They have their own private beach and restaurant which was very convenient. Service was amazing, room was comfortable and spacious. Highly recommended!

Service was ok, some staff were friendly, others not friendly nor helpful. The hotel is on a very steep hill and access to the rooms was a little bit of a workout, but provided privacy and breathtaking views from wherever you were. The bed was not very comfortable but the rooms were very spacious, beautiful, private (no walls shared between other rooms) and balcony was very nice. The vibe was very relaxing, the food was excellent, including vegan options upon advance request.

The hotel and staff are lovely. The room is large and has a fridge and safe. The pool is beautiful and at the top of property overlooking Koh Samui. Breakfast is there too and ala Carte. You can rent scooters thru hotel contact. 300 badt a day for the 125cc scooter. If your looking for a quote stay this place is great.
